Gifts

As the evening wares on talk bubbles away, until Amber disrupts the murmur budding convocation.

A: hey it’s been really nice to meet everyone but before we get get going, we have a gift for each of the couples!

Z: just make sure you don’t open them until Christmas, or Santa won’t be happy, ha ha ha

Amber takes 3 identical presents out of the sacs and hands them to each of the women. Uniformly square packages, in green paper with a red bow and a tiny name tag. there was no way for anyone to guess what lay inside.

B: well that’s very generous but I feel bad, none of us got you guys anything!

A: don’t worry, I’m sure Zack and I will have plenty of joy watching you unwrap them!

Z: if you think about giving is it self a gif.

John had know idea what that last bit meant, he just knew he didn’t like the way Zach said it.

Z: well we had bet get going!

O: oh come on you guys can’t be serious, look at the weather out there. The roads will be covered in ice!

R: Yh we can’t have you guys going out in that!

Z: oh we will be fine, it’s only a short drive!

O: come on no friends of my son are going out in that, right munchkin!

J: (still not sure about the whole situation) yh…

R: here, the sofa in the games room is a sofa bed, I will make it up and you guys can stay here for the night, ok?

A: if you really insist, we don’t want to be a burden,

O: shush don’t make such a fuss, Mia and I will help Rachael, it will be done in no time!

B: right now come on, you were just telling us the story of your guy trip this summer and. All the fun the four of you had

A: ok so Zachary family owns this lovely little island.

Amber goes on and explain the fun they had all had the previous summer, well a heavily altered version of it. She thought the details of “All” the fun might be a bit much for them right now!
