Progressing along

The next morning, Paul got up early and made Molly a good egg burrito and got her on her way.

Still in his running shorts and loose tank, Paul did a morning routine of exercises. Going from stretches, squats, lunges, running, etc. Paul worked up a sweat by the end of it. Checking his work mail, he noticed a lot of messages from clients; he didn’t have time to take a shower, but these clothes felt nasty and distracting.

His eyes invariably landed on the new training outfits. Glad he didn’t do video conferences today, he went ahead and grab the construction orange top and bottom, changed into them, and set the workout clothes to wash before tackling work.

After a few hours of sitting at his desk, he started to notice his feet were unusually chilly and felt rather cool over all. They tried not to have the A/C or heat run too much for efficiency, but rather than leave the office and loose his stride, he just grabbed the vest and some of the socks. He could feel the irritation of the vest, so he pulled up his pecs like Bill mentioned, and that seemed to relieve them a lot.

While the vest did something for him, the socks were so thin, they made almost no difference, so he slipped on the wedge sneakers while he sat at his desk.

As he sat there, he realized the vest and shoes were actually helping his typing posture a lot forcing his back straight. He had adjusted his workspace instinctively before he realized it, but it really did make his back feel more comfortable.

Before long, it was time for training again, stood up, and tried to nonchalantly grab the Gadget and slide it in his shorts to pretend like it was nothing.

Setting this up, he kneeled down in position to get ready for Bill.

<ba-ding> “Hey, Paulie, how goes?”

“Hello, Trainer Bill.” <BUZZ>

“Did you get a workout in today?”

“Yes, Trainer Bill.” <BUZZZZZZ>

“Good. Lets stretch out and then get into things.”

Bill tried to make sure that Paul was getting every nuance of the stretches’ forms & techniques before sending him down the treadmill again.

As Bill watched Paul on the treadmill, he was still a little surprised how femme the form was getting from behind. He still had work to do, but with two months left, this fool might just pull it off. He had to real time the encouragement and critique notices to hit at the right time and still focus on his recitations, but it seemed to be improving.

As the session came to an end, Bill gave Paul encouragements and praise for what he had been doing well, while including a low intensity buzz to coincide with it which he shut off as he mentioned what needed to be improved.

“Thank you for the insight, Trainer Bill.” <BUZZZ> Bill wanted to encourage his acceptance and make focus on the intense ones and let the id be the one to catch the lower-level buzzes.

“Alright, catch you tomorrow, Paulie.”

“Bye, Trainer Bill,”

Paul felt oddly good about today’s activities. He wasn’t perfect but Trainer Bill was seeing the improvement. He remembered some of the buzzes on the treadmill and tried to mimic the walk as he went around to do chores.

Tossing his sweaty workout clothes through the wash, cleaning dishes, even mopping and vacuuming, he found it surprisingly easy in his training clothes. Well, not any easier than normal, but definitely no harder really.

As dinner approached, he put his training things away & got dressed in shorts & t-shirt before Molly got home.

Molly recounted the troubles of her day over dinner before a casual evening and a quick romp before getting some sleep.
