The Quest For Hair Dye

"First things first, you need to get out of this funk. Start with taking better care of that hair, wash it, brush it, go dye it a nice slutty platinum blonde. Remember looks are everything. You need to look hot so you get attention and feel better." the devil instructed.

"While self care is important, you don't need to dye your hair. It's better if you showed people who you truly are. I'd advise keeping your natural hair colour." the angel countered.

Rebecca knew the angel meant well, but the reason she was stuck in a rut was due to being herself and the choices she made. Rebecca needed to try something different. So while she felt uneasy about the devil referring to platinum hair as slutty, Rebecca still liked the idea. "Sorry, but I'm going to go with the platinum hair." Rebecca said to the angel. With a poof both the angel and devil disappeared.

Now Rebecca just needed to dye her hair. The only problem was that she didn't have any platinum hair dye. A trip to the store was needed. Rebecca grabbed the first thing she could from her closet and put it on. It was a worn loose-fitting brown t-shirt and black sweatpants. She didn't need to look good yet, she just needed a temporary outfit so she can quickly pick up the dye and come back. With at least acceptable clothes on, Rebecca grabbed her wallet, grabbed her keys, and left her apartment.

As she left the building and stood on the sidewalk Rebecca realized she didn't entirely think this through. She didn't have a car so she had to come up with a way to get there on the fly. She could walk to the store, but it's pretty far and kind of cold outside. One thing was for sure though. Due to the compulsion, Rebecca needed to get platinum hair dye. That's when in a magical puff, the devil and angel reappeared. Only this time they were both wearing a loose-fitting t-shirt and sweatpants, like you. Except their outfits are all red and all white respectively. The devil looked like she was about to speak up with a suggestion...
