Jade barely resisted the voice this time. Though she knew deep down that she was partly to blame for baiting the man, she still felt overwhelming gratitude to this random guy who had stopped her from being assaulted in public. She made eye contact with him, smiling shyly, her face still red. "Y-yes... T-thank you... sir." Jade wasn't sure why she added the sir, the boy looked hardly any older than she did, but something about the way the voice had worded the suggestion... Like he was a knight. Her knight.

Jade stayed quiet as she stepped closer to the boy and lent gently against his chest, holding the edges of his jacket. He tensed for a moment, before loosening up and placing an arm around her, holding the strap above to keep them both steady on the jostling bus. "It's no problem miss." He said softly, "I'm Tyler." Jade looked up and saw his face smiling down at her. "And you are?"
