What's next?
Taking a trip across town
In another part of town…
“GIVE ME ALL THE MONEY IN THE REGISTER PAL!” Barked the armed robber aiming a shotgun up the nose of the café owner, the man had his arms over his head and shifted his glance from the shotgun in his face, the dishevelled man in front of him wielding it and the cash register at his side.
“Alright, alright man, just… Take it easy.”
Lowering his arm to tap the register button to open the tray, but he was so nervous, he couldn’t find the release button.
“You better open that register man or so help me I’m gonna…”
An explosion of glass and debris caught both men of guard, just as a fiery ball of limbs and screams barged through the wall and shot through the gunman and back out the adjacent wall of the building. Leaving two gapping holes in the café, where the owner dropped his arms and looked out the hole in confusion, seeing the fireball disappear around the corner of the street.
“What the ffffff….”
*
THIS was well outside of her skill set! Taking out armed thugs, robbers and the occasional costumed loon was simple for Susan, even dealing with the Mole Man or Namor or even Dr. Doom was casual enough for her on a good day. But Captain Marvel, turned into a giant spider and driven insane? Well… She had her hands full tonight.
“CAROL? I’m not sure you can understand me but believe me when I say that I’m taking all of this personally!”
Slammed through another brick wall and charging through the entire floor of an office building, Susan felt every collision, the impact muted by the symbiote going into overtime healing her injuries as fast as they were occurring. Out of instinct, the symbiote enveloped over Susan’s bare face and hair, protecting her completely from the debris and cosmic flames emitting from the massive arachnid she struggled with in mid air. Heading into the warehouse and industrial part of town, Susan looked over her shoulders as she struggled with Carol’s fangs in her hands. Realising too late she was being pushed into heavy crane equipment at the dockyards.
“And tonight, tonight had SO much promise…”
Crashing through the metal frame of a cargo crane and through three different cargo crates the size of city buses. Susan tried everything she could to stop from going into the next one or lord forbid right through the cargo ship Carol was planning to fly through. She tried firing out strands of webbing at anything they passed over, but the momentum was still too much, and the lines snapped like threads. Desperation sinking in, she was willing to do anything to stop Carol’s rampage, and in response… Her back sprouted tentacles as thick as her legs out from her back, grabbing and wrapping around anything they could reach, crushing and bending girders of solid steel in their grip. Stopping dead in the air with her hands around Carol’s fangs, Susan looked back at the six glassy looking eyes staring back at her and thought she saw a hint of confusion in them.
“Yeah… MY turn sister!”
Like a slingshot, Lady Anti-Venom pushed back, sending the massive fiery arachnid into the ground beneath them and causing a quake that made everything practically jump a foot in the air and fill the dockyard with a thunderous noise. It was so intense; she could feel her teeth rattle in her jaw and her ear drums ring. The symbiote squirmed over her skin like it felt like it would peel off for but a few seconds just as the noise died down and it enveloped her again. Looking around for the dust to settle, she found Carol slowly skuttle her way back onto her eight legs, stunned, confused, but the fight was still in her as her body charged back up with cosmic energies.
“Nuh uh, none of that!”
Sprouting her 4 sets of long, thin legs out of her back, Susan scurried towards Captain Marvel and began to spray webbing from her fists, enveloping the spider in black webs and bundling her up to keep her where she was. But her plan blew up in her face when Carol hissed out in rage and incinerated her bindings. Hovering over Susan’s head, the massive arachnid chittered with its fangs and raised its first pair of legs over its thorax in a threatening posture… Just as a ball of energy began to form between those dripping pairs of teeth.
“Eeep!”
Jumping out of the way just in time, a column of raw energy blasted out in a column towards where susan originally stood, broiling the concrete into molten slag. Changing her position in the air, the spider shot another column of energy, cutting a crane in half trying to hit Lady Anti-Venom in mid-swing. Landing on a crate, she winced when she heard the metal structure crash to the ground and the noises made her skin crawl.
“I LIKED YOU BETTER WHEN YOU WERE TRYING TO CRASH ME INTO STUFF!”
Ducking her head at the last moment and scuttling away from the destructive energies, Susan had crouched herself into a ball while her eight legs carried her faster than her human limbs ever could to safety. Looking around for anything to hide behind, Susan scurried her way into the storage bay where hundreds of crates and bins were stacked over each other like a maze. Not deterred, the former hero landed on the ground and chased after the symbiote wearing hero, crawling up and around crates and containers with ease seeking her prey. For over a minute, she made her way deeper into the maze of crates and containers, her many eyes looking over everything in every direction, her spider-senses feeling for everything that moved. She could sense the number of rats that chose this place to hide and congregate, she could sense a bird’s nest in the observation tower just outside the fence line… But she never noticed the wall of the crate behind her shift and move.
Completely invisible and taking on the colour and texture of the surface she clung to like a chameleon, Susan watched her stalker slowly scurry forward, still lost and still looking for her.
“Gotcha!”
Carol never stood a chance as Lady Anti-Venom lunged for her from behind and snaked her many legs around her like tentacles. With a hissing screech, Carol set herself aflame with cosmic energies, sizzling the symbiote as it tried to sink its tendrils into Carol’s chitinous flesh. Rolling on the ground and struggling to contain Captain Marvel, Susan grunted when she was slammed against a wall and cried out when Carol finally managed to bite Susan on the arm. Screaming as her arm felt like it was on fire, Carol got the upper hand on the woman and pinned her to the ground despite being tangled up in Susan’s tentacles. Guarding herself with her free arm, those fangs threatened to bite her covered face. The venom burning away in her system was making her woozy, slowly ebbing away her strength as she struggled against the massive spider. Susan was already losing sensation in her legs and her left arm, despite the wounds already healed, was left numb at her side. The only thing holding the spider back was the symbiote itself. Everything was going black…
“GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME!!!!” Snarled Susan, her eyes wide awake and her other arm now grabbing hold of Carol. Her mask suddenly began to form a mouth, human-looking at first with pert lips that pulled back in a look of strain but kept on peeling back until her mouth reached where her ears would have been, her teeth now a set of razor sharp, jagged black fangs, nothing but fangs as her maw opened wide and a black lashing tongue snaked out. Lunging forward, Susan bit down between Carol’s pedipalps and fangs, making the massive spider screech in pain as Susan sunk her teeth into her.
Struggling to get away, the spider was already pinned and tangled up in Susan’s many tentacles as Susan turned about the spider’s bite and gave a venomous bite of her own, or more specifically ANTI-venomous. In the span of seconds, the spiders’ limbs began to wither and reced back into her body. Her remaining limbs changing into human arms and legs as her body cricked and cracked, changing shape into a human torso. The mandibles disappeared as did the additional eyes, leaving a human face crying out when Susan pulled away and licked at the wound she caused, instantly healing the injury and letting Carol Danvers fall to her back breathing shallow breaths and completely restored to human form.
As for Susan, she fell back, the lamprey-like smile disappearing to reveal a smooth surface of a mask, which then peeled away to show Susan’s human face and hair with a black domino mask covering her eyes. Laying on her own back and breathing hard as she regained her strength. Slowly stirring awake and sitting up, Carol combed her bare fingers through her blonde hair and looked around in confusion, not knowing where she was or why it was nighttime.
“Where am I…?” She asked, almost in a slurred state as she turned and tried to proper herself up by her hands and slumping down on her side, giggling.
Regaining her own strength and sitting up, Susan shivered as she felt the symbiote burn the venom out of her system, giving her a pleasure high as it pumped endorphins into her system to cope with the pain and giving her a pleasure high to ride through the healing process. And by the way Carol rolled on her back and clutched at her sides in a giggling fit, she was in the same boat.
“W-who are YOU supposed to be?” She smiled, looking up at the night sky as she tried to calm down her giggling.
“Well, I’ve been trying to push that my name is Lady Anti-Venom but that asshat on the news has been calling me Mommy Long Legs and now everyone is calling me that.”
“What?!... That’s hilarious.” Laughed Carol, rolling onto her side and sitting up, wiping tears from her eyes and yelping in surprise when Susan playfully body tackled her to the ground, the two so **** in the moment, they snaked their arms around each other and began to kiss, moaning into each other’s mouths as they rolled around on the ground.
“Take that back!” Giggled Susan, her mind slowly regaining some sharpness as she collapsed on top of Captain Marvel, laughing into her chest. A chest she realised was bare since her clothes were tattered in her transformation. “It’s not funny! Not one bit!”
“Of COURSE, it is!” Breathing shallow breaths and looking around with a more sober light, Carol blinked and looked over to the white and black wearing heroine who by now regained her own composure. “The hell am I doing at the docks?”
“You attacked me downtown, took me for a ride across town and tried to bite my face off.”
“I did WHAT?”
“Don’t worry, you’re better now… Incidentally, do you remember some ugly looking guy before you went all arachnophobia?”
Getting up to her feet and feeling uneasy, Carol rested her back against the steel wall of a nearby freight container. Shifting her eyes back and forth, she tried to remember what happened before things went dark for her.
“Yeah… It was like something out of a damn horror novel, some lanky-limbed thing with a bug face came out of nowhere after I was meeting with friends… Then nothing.”
“You remember where?”
