The raid gets Ninja'd

“What the fuck was that?” You say as you shook your head as you tried to clear the pounding headache. You sat up from inside a dent in a lawn, loose dirt shifting off of you. ‘That chestplate was definitely worth the three thousand gold.’

As your sight cleared up, you looked to the side and through the ringing in your ears, your eyes followed a noise somewhere over your shoulder. You could barely see Diana, Erza, Starfire, and a Powergirl and a Saiyan holding a twisting and hollering form under them. You could barely make out a ‘PW_I’ on the back of the Powergirl’s shirt and a ‘__PD’ on the Saiyan.

As the ringing went away while Katara reached you and started coating the side of your head with water, your attention was caught by something else. Turning your head again, you saw something that nearly brought a smile to your face. Gaige had a massive, vicious smile as she wielded her oversized wrench over her head and brought it down on the left knee of Phil Bourgarde. The bastard was on the ground in a pile of glass.

As most of your pain faded away thanks to Katara’s healing, you were suddenly hit with what happened.

“Boss, the police already arrived and tried talking to the bastard. He told them to pound sand and do something to a chicken I won’t be repeating,” a Powergirl reported as you and Batman exited the massive hole that was the front of your wall.

“Good thing we got a warrant, kindly inform the police to form up with us,” Batman said, causing the Powergirl to nod and take off. In the street several PWBI and a couple of police cars were already by Phil’s house. You saw Ahsoka giving the police a report, likely about what happened to the house for the insurance; hopefully your home insurance covered **** character damage.

“What’s the plan?” Gaige and Shampoo formed up beside you while Ranko and others stopped clearing debris to catch up.

“The PWBI is going to ask nicely and we are going to be on the sidewalk incase they fuck it up,” you say grimly. Hearing discontented voices, you glare back a bit. “I don’t like it either but we need to listen to the authorities since they are already here. They’re professionals.”

“So were we,” Diana uttered as she crossed her arms.

“I know…” Leaving your yard, you noticed a bunch of your neighbors were out of their homes and looking at your ruined house and muttering to themselves. You even noticed some of Antonio’s characters looking around though no Antonio for now; you vaguely wondered how he was doing.

“Kate, take Suki and Kyouka and maybe Callie and Marie and make sure no one takes stuff from the house. Maybe a couple of the Asari as well,” you ordered and then focused on the steadily marching Batman, having faith that Kate would follow your orders.

Soon you were standing with many of your heavy and mid hitters on the sidewalk in front of Phil’s house with Batman’s PWBI team (about four characters including Powergirl) and four police officers including a Prime Worlder with Saiyan ancestry and two Kim Possibles (though one had a cowboy hat on).

“What’s going on?” Katie Wayne from down the street asked. The teenage girl looked at you concerned due to your weapons and the damage at your house. “And where have you been? I didn’t see you at the monthly barbecue.”

“Phil stole a character from me. “ You said grimly. “And I was stuck somewhere due to work. Did I miss anything?”

“Donahue wanted to give you some baby shower stuff I think…oh hey they’re going in.” Katie was right, Batman was ordering Phil to open the door and had shown the warrant to Phil’s camera.

“RAAAAAAGH!” A loud shriek sounded causing your heart to skip.

“Aelita!” You rush forward into Phil’s yard, uncaring of the police tape that had just been put up. You made it halfway through Phil’s remarkably large front yard when Batman kicked the front door in only for it to explode outwards as a 8 foot, green skinned and haired Hinata smashed through the PWBI and police personnel and threw a furious chakra and gamma radiation infused punch at you.

“So that’s what happened,” you mutter as Katara helped you up.

“Stop being so reckless!” Katara ordered as she cleaned up some of your blood. You gave her a small nod before you walked towards where the kneecapped Phil was being interrogated by Batman.

“She was on the curb, she was fair game like all the others he took,” Phil rasped at Batman. The dark red blood leaking from his nose and brow made his ghostly pale skin look almost a light pink.

“I ask again where is the pregnant Aelita, the elf, and catgirl,” Batman demanded. “I already read your rights so talk!”

“I don’t know! I only took the spare Hinata so she may have the HONOR of being my latest MASTERPIECE! That was until YOUR,” Phil spits a little, “people decided to knock on MY door. Getting THEIR FILTHY HANDS on my HOUSE!”

“That Hinata is mine?” You ask looking at the hulked out Hinata that looked like she was cosplaying an angry She-Hulk.

“NO! She’s MINE now! I took her from your curb as she fixed the mailbox! FAIR GAME!”

“Not how that works,” Batman says as he hoists Phil up and hands him off to the two Kim Possibles. Batman then turns to the remaining police officers and PWBI agents who were not keeping bystanders away or holding down Hulk-Hinata. “Everyone standing, search the house, he might be lying about the missing characters.”

As an Officer Jenny (not the one you knew from the station) passed by, you heard them mumbling under their breath. “Was there a sale on hulk mods that I didn’t hear about? Fourth one this month.”

“What do we do if they aren’t here?” You ask, looking at Batman with **** eyes.

“Then we follow the other locations indicated on the app, officers should be investigating those locations about now…”
