Spirits and Spades: Leah has a beer

"I'll just take a beer." she said with a smile.

"Its not beer and spade." Tommy chuckled.

"Don't want to start off too strong. I gotta learn the rules Tommy." she grinned.

"Fair, fair." he nodded as he began to sip on his own glass of dark liquor and coke.

Jonathan brought her a domestic beer which might as well have been water. Then he began to explain the rules of Spades. It had been a while but Leah was starting to pick it up again. They went through a practice game. And Leah found Jonathan had finished his own drink.

"You need something babe?" she asked as she found her own bottle empty.
