A change in plans

The class decided on the questions and grinned at Amy.

“Question 1.” A short, curvy girl asked. “What is 1+1?”

Samantha’s head hit the desk as she drooped in despair. Amy giggled.

“George Washington.”

“Correct. What is the last letter of the alphabet?”
