Jake asks the women if they have lunch plans, because he skipped breakfast.

A soft rumbling in Jake's stomach reminded him that he had skipped breakfast, and that it was getting late enough in the day to probably be lunch time. Jake preferred not to make any solid plan before coming to the beach, that way he would be flexible if he met a beach hottie. If he failed Jake could just walk back to his house, his place was practically on the beach. Being eagle-eyed, Jake noticed that the women didn't have a cooler with them either, just a few water bottles.

"So yeah, did you have any plans for lunch?" Jake asks Sarah. "You and your friends, I mean." Jake stumbled a bit, not wanting to make this sound like he was asking Sarah out.

"Not really," Sarah said. "We slept in and got a late start today. We'll probably just head back to the house and make some sandwiches or something. You could join us, if you'd like."

Jake thought about this for a moment before...
