Musical preferences

“Phew, lookin GOOD Suzie!” Susan whistled to herself as she looked over her body in the bathroom mirror. The Anti-Venom symbiote had taken the form of a matching set of lace underwear and bra that hugged her slim and athletic figure like a second skin. Ever since she hot been bonded to the Anti-Venom symbiote, Susan’s health and physique had only improved. There was not a trace of fat on her, and her arms and legs look so fit and firm she looked like she jogged and exercised daily to keep such a figure up. Not only that, but her chest was also as firm and pliant as ever and her rear looked like she could bounce a quarter off it. She hadn’t looked this good since she was in her 20s, back when she was modelling. The only different between then and now was she was practically eating half her body weight in chocolate a week!

If she had been going this route WITHOUT the symbiote, Susan had no doubt she’d have looked like a plump soccer mom with a bigger trunk and spare tire than her car. Instead, she was looking back at the reflection of a woman in her late 30s looking like she was in her late teens with the body of a super model, MMA fighter and porn queen wrapped in a single frilled silk package! Posing back and forth, she blew her reflection a kiss and a wink, just as a brand-new set of clothes appeared over her partially nude body. Like viscous oil it flowed over her body and took on texture and colour, assuming the form of a pair of skin-tight, grey, low rider jeans and a sky-blue halter top that showed off her flat midriff and perfect chest.

Stepping out of the restroom attached to her and Reed’s bedroom and out the hall, Susan smiled when she found her family getting together at the living room table eating breakfast. Stepping behind Reed, she hugged the man from behind and pecked his forehead, smiling when he looked up with a grin, showing his band aid covered fingers from making breakfast.

“Good morning sweetheart.”

“Morning Suzie… I made breakfast.”

“I can tell, you KNOW you can ask HERBIE for help, right?”

“He DID!” Chuckled Johnny, sipping from his coffee while the rest of the family chuckled at Reed’s expense.

“Any plans this weekend honey?” Asked Reed, sipping at his own coffee as the woman sat at the table and made herself a bowl of fruit and a small bowl to pour chocolate sauce in to dip her ‘breakfast’ into.

“Oh, not much, I was thinking about heading out into the city for some fresh air.” Dipping a strawberry into the bowl filled with chocolate sauce, Susan sighed into a smile.

“By the way mom, are we still doing the bake sale for school this week?” Asked Franklin, where he and his sister looked up to their mother with anticipation.

“Yeah, we were going to make fudge brownies for the bake sale.”

“Oh?” She looked back at her two children, her eyes wider at the prospect of something sweet, and remembering the pamphlet her son brought home. “Uhm, YES! Just pick a date and we can do it together.” Dipping a banana slice into her chocolate sauce, Susan finished her breakfast and wiped her hands clean, spooning the remaining sauce like a soup to finish it off.

“By the way, how are your classes? Val, I’ve been told you’ve been struggling a bit in music class honey.” Smiled the Invisible Woman, oblivious to everyone else’s reactions when Valaria stood up proudly from her seat with a big smile.

“My teacher claims I have the musical ear of a deaf seagull in traffic.”

“Pff…” Scoffed the mother of two with a wave of her hand. “My kids are great at music, let’s hear you sing honey.”

“Oh Lord no…” Trading looks, Ben and Johnny plugged their ears with bits of their paper napkins while Johnny conjured earmuffs to place over his head. Reed, realising what was about to happen had his ears sink into the sides of his head.

Breathing in and ready to open her mouth to sing, Susan placed her finger on the divot of Valaria’s upper lip and look down at the watch on her wrist. “Hold that honey, mommy has an appointment and she’s running late.” Leaning forward she kissed her daughter and son on the forehead and practically jumped out of her seat, giving her husband one last kiss before heading out the door.

Seeing the crisis had been avoided, the family undid anything that blocked their ears and looked out into the living room to see the front door slam shut in a hurry.

“Ah geez, dodged a bullet there…” Sighed Ben in relief, leaning back in his chair.

“Thought I was going to need to flame on and fly out the window to safety.”

“Hey! I’m right HERE!” Pouted the girl, wringing her hands at her sides.

“No offense kiddo, but I’ve heard banshees sound better.” Winced Johnny, using his pinky to pluck out the tissue paper in his ears.

“DAD!” Cried out Valaria, just as Johnny and Ben got up from their seats to clean up breakfast.

“What’s that Val?” Asked Reed, looking confused and bringing a hand to the side of his head and remembering he hid his ears. Returning them back to normal.

“You think I’m good at singing, don’t you?”

Shifting his eyes back and forth, trying to find something to focus on while he caught Ben, Johnny and his son slink away while his daughter stared back at his misty eyed for any closure he could offer. The man instead eyed his coffee and drank his drink all in one gulp.

“Uggh… Uuuudeer, I burmed ma tongue… Sowee Val, Daddee’s godda geh ssshomething for is tongue.”

Seeing her father quickly make his escape from the living room, the little girl crossed her arms and harrumphed.

“MOM would have loved my singing…”
