Carrie, aspiring mother

Ever since she became an adult, Carrie has always wanted one thing: to have a family. She grew up an orphan, and she watched many other happy families and wanted that for her. She knew it was too late to be the child, but she was looking forward to being a happy mother. She wasn't naive though, and knew it would take money to raise a family comfortably, and spent time and a lot of effort to get a good paying job. She made sure it was remote so she could still be a stay at home mom. She didn't want to find a man just for a child, so she resolved to go to a clinic instead. However, after finally saving a lot of money, she received the most horrible news ever: she was infertile. She sat in her house, sobbing as she looked at her preparations for children. "All for nothing", she thought. But then she realized that it wasn't over! There were new treatments being made every day for people like her, and if that doesn't work, she could always adopt and give an orphan a loving home. She wipes her tears away and looks to the future.
