Weiss shows up first, and she's not happy.

"FIREBALL! FIREBALL! FIREBALL! FIREBALL! FIREBALL! FIREBALL! FIREBALL! FIREBALL! FIREBALL! FIREBALL!"

"What in the world is going o-On!?" Weiss said as she arrived, only to narrowly dodge one of Ruby's rampant fireballs. "What the...?! WHAT?!!"

"Whoops," Ruby said, realizing what she almost did. "Sorry Weiss! I got carried away."

"What the heck was that?" Weiss sputtered in a fit of confusion, "Were you just shooting balls of fire? With you your hand? How? What in all of-" it was then that she noticed Ruby's now scale covered and armored arm. "Ruby, what in all of Remnant happened to your arm?!"

"Oh this?" said Ruby, "It's just one of the artifacts Oslo- I mean Professor Ozpin had stored here. It's actually some sort of magic armor made by a real dragon. It lets me show fireballs! Wanna see? FIREBA-"

"WILL YOU KNOCK IT OFF RUBY?!" Weiss yelled before Ruby could resume her flaming frenzy. "Look... *sigh* Ozpin put something like this... thing here with all of these dangerous weapons for a reason. Have you seen what else is down here, Ruby? For goodness sake, there's a vat of sentient black slime that said to come from outer space! FROM OUTER SPACE! And here you are, with a piece of dangerous equipment, and spamming fireballs all over the place like it was one of your cheap, dumb, video games. Now take that thing off of your arm before you set this place on fire!"

"First of all," Ruby argued, "I can't really take it off. This armor's kind of fused to me. Second, I was being careful not to hit anything important. Third, video games are fun, and you should try it sometime. Fourth... there's a slime monster that came from outer space?"

"Oh yeah," Weiss replied, "There's actually a few vats full of them. Apparently about fifty years ago some asteroids fell to earth and..." Weiss paused for a moment to give Ruby a weird, yet annoyed look at her. "What did you just say about armor fusing with you?"

"Oh yeah," Ruby confirmed, "This gauntlet, which was originally this shiny bracelet in that plastic case over their with the other jewelry, kind of fused to my body, which kind of hurt at first, but I'm guessing it had to if it was going to give me the ability to use fire magic. *heh heh* ... It's still cool though. I can do awesome stuff with my weapon, my semblance, and my hand; like this. FIREB-"

"RUBY ROSE!!" Weiss screamed, scaring Ruby, "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?! What in the world possessed you to put on a bracelet, or gauntlet, or... whatever, without knowing whether or not it would fuse onto you like it just did?!"

"Oh I knew it was going to do that," Ruby said, "The hologram said so."

"And you put it on anyway?!" Weiss yelled, utterly in shock of what she just heard. "I don't believe this. Of all of the dumb, and immature things I expect from you... This is the kind of idiocy I expected from you back at our first semester in Beacon, and I had very low expectation of you back then, so that's saying something!"

"To be fair," Ruby argued, "There was a reason everyone called you the "Ice Queen", and occasionally "Stone Cold Bitch", back then."

"I... *sigh*," Weiss took a moment to collect herself, reminding herself that she is better person than she was then. "Look Ruby, I'm just worried about you. Despite the fact that I, and everyone else on the team looks to you as a capable leader, you're still a few years younger than us, and it sometimes shows. I sometimes act this way because I care about you as your... *sigh* BFF."

Ruby gasped as her face lit up with joy after hearing Weiss finally admit that the two of them were BFFs. She then glomped Weiss in a fit of happiness, causing the white haired heiress huntress to struggle for breath at the sudden hug.

"Okay, Ruby" Weiss said, "now that you've got your fireball frenzy out of your system, let's find Blake and Yang, and then..." It was at that moment that Weiss noticed something: a small glow from the ornament collection had caught her eye, and in a sort of semi-trance Weiss approached one artifact in particular.
