There is a delicious breakfast

The next morning James wakes up to a knock on the door. He rubs his eyes and says "come in" a little tiredly. The door opens and both Rem and Asia Argento from High School DxD come in.

"How did you sleep?" asks Rem as Asia goes to the window and pushes aside the curtains. "Pretty good so far," James replies yawning and having to blink a few times as the sun's rays hit his face.

"Master Reginald is expecting you in the dining room at 9. You are welcome to freshen up" Rem continues. Asia walks back to her in time. "Thanks for the info" says James and looks at the clock next to the bed. It's 8:30 am.

"See you at breakfast" Rem says again and both maids leave the bedroom. Why was she so polite. She could have addressed me normally, James considers and sits up.

The events of last night come back into his head. I hope I wasn't too hard on Sylvanas. What I said was a bit mean.

In response, James gets ready. He takes a shower in the bathroom, which is directly attached to the guest room, and then gets dressed again. He folds the pajamas a bit and leaves them on the bed. Then he makes his way to the dining room.

Even from a distance he smells the delicious smell of freshly prepared eggs and bacon. He passes the kitchen on the way and hears a few voices coming from it.

"Do you think Reginald has finally found someone?" Asks a somewhat excited voice. "I have to say, I was a little surprised when I saw him this morning."

"I think so, otherwise he wouldn't be spending the night here after all" replies a calmer voice. "Besides, if you're going to wait here, you might as well give us a hand" the same voice says in a somewhat reproachful undertone. "I'm sorry, Asuna. Sure I can go ahead and put everything on the carts."

Were they talking about me? James asks himself as he continues walking and the voices are slowly no longer to be heard. But he can't ponder for long, because he already reaches the dining room.

There is already a lot going on in it. Rem, Rey and Ai are walking around and setting the table. At one side of the table, a few women are already sitting, visibly amused and talking. Other women are standing around in small groups. Some of them look just as tired as James, but most of them are probably used to being a little awake at this hour.

He comes into the room and it suddenly gets quieter. All of the women present look to him. Most have stopped talking, but a few are still whispering among themselves.

At the table are Sonja and Marnie from Pokemon, Ciri from the Witcher, and Ino from Naruto. In a group of 2 and a group of 3 are Trinity from Matrix, Margaery Tyrell from Game of Thrones, Princess Peach, Elsa from Frozen, and Mina from My Hero Academia.

Mina whispers something to Margaery, who giggles. Just as James is about to speak, Sylvanas comes into the room. "Ah James there you are." She looks around the room. "Good, then everyone is already here except Asuna, Alice, and Asia. We'll wait a bit and I'll introduce you."

Then she turns to the others. "Reginald is with Cercei in the basement right now. He'll join us later, so we should get started." She nods to Rem and she and Rey walk out of the room. Half a minute later they come into the room along with Asuna, Alice and Asia.

"Sit down," Sylvanas says in a sharp undertone. All the women except the Maids immediately sit down. In that time, the Maids put the food on the table and then sit down as well. James also sits down. He sits next to Sylvanas and Marnie, who watches him with interest.

"Marnie, we'll talk in a minute. Get started." Then the hustle and bustle starts, which is to be expected with such a large group. Everyone gets bread, various spreads, sausage or even bacon and egg on their plates.
