The right thing.

Arerto went to her chambers and after dismissing Bella and Selina she headed to her empty bed. She was missing Katherine but she was out training her navy tonight. Arerto stripped and got into bed and was soon asleep. Although she had hoped to sleep more she awoke with a startle when something heavy crashed against her door. It was too early for anyone to visit her so she sat up quickly brushing her hair trying to think through the haze.Arerto went to the door and found one of her guards struggling with a young female of atleast eighteen moons."What is going on here guard?"asked Arerto The guard replied "Your Majesty" I found her wandering the corridors without an escort."The young woman looked dirty and very hungry."What is your name my child?" the young woman looked up at Arerto "what is it to you let me go" Arerto signalled the guard to let the woman go and instructed her to go get Bella. "Bella! sorry to wake you but could you go to the kitchen and see what food you find."

"Now young lady come with me and Arerto led her into her chambers and they sat down. "My name is Arerto and i would like to know who i am talking with" The young woman looked at Arerto" Fine my name is Glinda""Well Glinda what brings you to the palace?"" I was bored and thought it would be a good idea""Well young lady it was queit a feat avoiding the guards because most are drowsy and napping."Arerto made a note to talk with Freya and Jasmine. "You look tired Glinda maybe you should go home and sleep""I do not have home since my family were killed in the war""Bella have Glinda taken to a guest room and get her cleaned up and bring her to me in the morning""Yes my Queen."Glinda looked at Arerto" Your the queen""Yes i am the Queen. Glinda smiled "You do not look like a monster" Arerto chuckled as Bella led Glinda away to a room and bath. Arerto went back to her bed and fell alseep for the second time.

The next morning Arerto was in the meeting room with both Freya and Jasmine. "Please leadies tell me how a young woman was allowed to wander around the palace at night and reach my chambers before being caught" Freya and Jasmine had no explantion. ""I will tell you your guards were napping. Tell me Freya what schedule do your guards keep before they are changed.?" Every every eight hours my queen"" then general Freya make it every four hours."There was a knock on the door and Lady Cressida entered and she was carrying a parchment which she handed to the Queen. Arerto took it and smiled. "Freya Jasmine no wonder she got in queitly her mother was commander juliana who was unfortuantely killed during the war."Do you have any suggestions?" Jasmine asked."I suggest we find out if she wants to follow in her mothers's footsteps.""Giselle have Glinda brought to me"" I will do that straight away my queen."

Glinda was brought in and Arerto greeted her "Glinda this is General Freya head of my army and General Jasmine incharge of the infantry. They both knew your mother" s name was Juliana and they all fought in the war. ""Now young lady i have a choice for you. You can live the life you are now with no home and down in the gutter. On the other hand you can follow in your mothers footsteps." Arerto looked at Glinda while she wrestled with her choice.Glinda made her choice she would train to be a warrior and she told Arerto. Arerto looked at everyone in the room and asked them all to leave but asked Glinda to stay. "Glinda let me tell you something about your mother. She was when i was a trainee my commander and i was there when she was killed." "Your mother gave her life to save mine i am here because of her sacrifice." Arerto took Glinda and handed in to the care of Freya and Jasmine and watched as they walked away to the academy.
