How does this effect things?

Not great TBH

Not great Tbh- Rough Draft

After their encounter with Lizzy at the art gallery, Nate and Jeremy couldn't shake the awkwardness that hung in the air between them. Although they had been growing closer and more comfortable with each other, the sudden appearance of Jeremy's ex-girlfriend had left them both feeling shaken and uncertain.

Jeremy, for his part, couldn't help but dwell on the past. As he went about his daily routine, he found himself constantly thinking about the things Lizzy had said to him when they were together – how she had belittled him and manipulated him, all while claiming that it was for his own good. And now that she was back, Jeremy couldn't help but worry that he might fall back into old patterns.

Nate, meanwhile, was struggling with his own feelings of jealousy and insecurity. While he knew that he should be focusing on supporting Jeremy, he couldn't help but feel envious of the confident, feminine air that Lizzy seemed to exude so effortlessly. He knew that he was supposed to be the dominant one in their relationship, but he couldn't help but feel as if Lizzy was somehow better suited for the role.

The next morning after the Gallery and an evening of not talking at all,let alone avoiding the subject at hand, Nate and Jeremy sat at their kitchen table, sipping coffee and picking at their breakfast. The silence between them was palpable, and it seemed as if they were both waiting for the other to break it.

Finally, Jeremy couldn't take it any longer. "Nate," he said hesitantly, "I need to talk to you about something."

Nate looked up from his coffee, his eyes filled with concern. "Of course," he said softly. "What's on your mind?"

Jeremy hesitated for a moment, trying to find the right words. "I've been thinking a lot about what happened with Lizzy at the gallery," he said slowly. "And I can't help but feel like maybe I'm not ready for this – for us."

Nate felt a pang of hurt at Jeremy's words, but he tried to hide it. "Why do you say that?" he asked gently.

Jeremy looked down at his hands, twisting them nervously in his lap. "I just… I don't know if I can do this," he said quietly. "I mean, I want to be Jasmine, I really do. But with everything that's happened, I'm just not sure if I can change."

The conversation continued, with Jeremy expressing his doubts and fears, and Nate doing his best to reassure him. But as much as they tried to work through the issues together, it was clear that they still had a long way to go.

As the day wore on, Jeremy left for work at the gym, feeling a little more at ease but still not entirely convinced that he was on the right path. He tried to focus on his job, but his mind kept wandering back to the morning's conversation.

How does the next day go?
