The garden

To Jessica's surprise, cousin Wallace did not drag her inside her house. Instead, Jessica was taken to the side of the house and through a wooden gate. Cousin Wallace shoved the reporter so she stumbled forward into the overgrown garden. It was a narrow garden, with two large fences stretching down a long grassy walk that Jessica couldn't see the end to. Jessica was able to see many garden tools scattered about, a large wooden shed and a trampoline.

Jessica turned to face Cousin Wallace angrily. "Hey! You can't treat me like this!" She yelled, depsite being homeless she still wanted respect. "I will treat my troll how I want!" Cousin Wallace yelled back at Jessica, her large tall frame towered over the reporter. Jessica gulped, it was best she behaved for now. "Okay I'm sorry.. can we go inside please..?" She asked.

Cousin Wallace chuckled once again. "Don't be silly, you're a garden troll now, you live in my garden!" She declared. "B..but... where do I sleep? Where's the toilet!?" Jessica asked in a panic, she couldn't possibly live outside like some savage! "Sleep on the grass, shit and piss wherever I don't care, oh and when you start to smell I'll wash you with the drainage." Cousin Wallace explained to Jessica.

The reporter's entire jaw dropped to the floor. She could not believe what this brute of a woman had just said. She had to remain obedient until the chance arose, but Jessica was absolutely not staying here. "I'll take your silence as acknowledgement, all I have left to tell you is that my garden has been set up for trolls like you, so the more exploring you do the higher the chance that my garden will treat you like a troll! Ta ta!" With that, Cousin Wallace slid her back door open and locked it.

Jessica stood there in shock, desperately trying to figure out her next move...
