Sita meets a friend

Sighing, Sita jumped out of the car and tried to join her sisters. Her plan was to simply wait this out in the restroom and hope that nobody saw her, but her sisters thought differently.

"Here, Sita, you're so skinny, we should feed you!" Arya giggled as she and Maya led the girl into the gas station store to buy some snacks. Sita tried to resist, but the sisters were too strong for her and pulled her inside.

Crouching down a little in the snack aisle, Sita grabbed the first things she could find, some Spree and Gobstoppers. Her sisters, confident in their choices, took her and brought her in line. Only Arya joined her - the other sisters gave her their stuff while they went back to the car.

Eventually they got to the front of the line, where to Sita's horror her good friend Sameer was working the register.

"Ummm, hi Sita..." Sameer blushed almost as furiously as Sita.

"Oh my god, Sameer, how are you?" Sita tried to deflect the elephant in the room.

"Good, good. I see you've made quite a fashion statement..."

"Oh, that haha. We were just at the beach and I lost my swimsuit. Should have gone with a one-piece," as Arya stood in silence with the biggest shit-shoveling grin.

"Well, I like it! I think your physique is quite svelte and fit..." Sameer wasn't lying. Growing up in a family riddled with obesity, he had little opportunity to see people of normal weight, much less skinnier.

"Well, I can't get too much in the way of you two lovebirds," Arya butted in with the card Vivek had given her and paid for everything. The group continued in awkwardness for the next five seconds until Vivek yelled from outside "come on, everyone, what is the big hold up?"

"Coming, dad!" Arya shouted and gave Sita the bags before running out. Sita smiled at Sameer and began to go when he stopped her.

"Uhh, Sita, you look gorgeous and I'd like to take you to the winter dance next week. Would that work for you?"

"That would be lovely!" Sita laughed, one of the only good thoughts she had had all day.

"Great, see you then!"

Sita started walking out of the store, grateful for at least something positive, but realized that she needed to pee...
