Absolutely nothing

Mackenzie's great start to the semester came to a grinding halt within three months, when even her new wardrobe - bedsheets, pillowcases, and all - had been completely depleted. Her I.T. job replenished her for the next month, but the forces of fate were too strong and that too became uneconomical.

Mackenzie appealed once again to Willow and Marianne for clothing for her final month in school, but they duly told her to pound sand, threatening to call Jack Feldman if she tried to take anything of theirs and taking inventory of their wardrobes every night. So, Mackenzie was back to a state of primordial nature, having only a single blanket and single towel to her name. She managed to get remote work for the I.T. job, which was often call center stuff, and could stay in her room with online provisions of course lectures and assignments. This would not do, however, for finals week.

Mackenzie thought about what to do for finals week. She had two options: either petition her instructors to take the finals virtually, which required a third-party proctor (hopefully Willow counted as "third-party") and required her to explain herself without attracting the ire of Feldman. On the other hand, her enclosure had allowed her to save enough money to buy a whole week's worth of clothes, which she hoped would last her through finals and the flight back home for the summer.
