An Unexpected Proposal

"Hey, baby," Makoto purred. "Ready for our night in together?"

"Of course," Ren said, slapping her ass.

"Oh!" Makoto said. "I have something I wanted to tell you."

"Yeah?" Ren asked.

"Well, um...can we get married?"

"WHAT?!" Ren yelled.

"Listen, something is missing from my house," Makoto said. "Like, I used to have somebody else there with me, but now I'm alone and...I mean, we're both legally adults, so I thought that...look, if you don't want to get married, I understand. I just wanted to bring it up."

So Makoto knew Sae was missing, but couldn't remember her name or face. Ren didn't realize how alone she was...
