The enemy commander Killiane had gone to her tent along with Arerto. "Queen Arerto it seems that reports of your **** are premature and that you deserted your army false" Arerto smiled then replied" General time is short I am guessing that my sister Chasin failed to tell you that you would be fighting against fellow Amazons. We have a couple of scenarios one good and one very bad, we can stop the fighting and you join me or we fight and cause more ****. Your loyalty is to the Amazons first then your army and finally the monarch so you have the chance to either save a lot of lives or to sacrifice a lot of lives for just one person." Killiane sat deep in thought then dropped to her knee and laid her sword at Arerto's feet and pledge her loyalty to Queen Arerto. "Pick up your sword general remember the people first and the monarchy last" Killiane picked up her sword and stood "Yes my Queen." then she resheathed her sword.

The next few hours were spent clearing the ravine of the dead elephants and removal of the dead warriors who were placed in their cloaks. Then Killiane's army was reorganised so that each unit had a mix of veteran warriors and new recruits to give more balance. Arerto sent a rider to the coast with orders for Katherine who would be waiting at one of the secret caves ashore. The generals all sat with Arerto and Freya spoke" My Queen the army is in good shape now we have a total strength of nine thousand warriors and the composition is as follows. Two thousand cavalry one thousand of which are mounted, Two thousand archers, four thousand warriors on foot and finally one thousand others like healers and a training unit." Arerto thanked Freya the said " Have the trainers attached to the fighting units and the army divided into three divisions. You three will each command one division and General Freya organise a reserve division. General Freya, please remain for a minute."

"Freya make sure to have Killiane's division made up of our most loyal troops so that she has a fighting chance. She is not experienced with command." Freya looked and Arerto and nodded then left the tent and so the organisation started. Each division would have five hundred cavalry and one thousand warriors on foot plus two hundred and fifty support troops. Arerto summoned Cassandra to the command tent. "Commander Cassandra for your excellent defence of the heights and ravine I am giving you a battle commission to the rank of general. You will take command of the reserve division." Cassandra thanked Arerto and left to take up her command and reported to Freya and the others. Arerto then issued orders through her chief aide that the army would rest for a couple of days before marching to the capital. Arerto thought about the order she had sent to Katherine and by the time she got it her attack should happen the same day as her own.
