What Happens Next? What is Your Response?
I Forgive my Enemy, & that is Just & Strong…
Ms. Tanya Jonssen saying that was the only reason I decided to be willing to offer her an olive branch. “I forgive you because you are acknowledging the mistake & making me aware of the cranberries… You could have just left without saying anything more.
“I am not a saint, & I don’t expect the people around me to be saints either. I will follow your mother’s example & welcome your visits with your siblings & mother.”
Tanya genuinely smiled warmly. It was the first genuine smile from her, of the night. “I see… maybe you are worthy of mother, but I still think it is weird they totally accept you fucking all three of them.”
“It’s because of how utterly satisfied we feel even now… if you know what I mean.” Ms. Inga Jonssen spoke again with a suggestive smile & moving eyebrows.
Tanya laughed, “Yeah, I will stick with Michael. I am very satisfied with him still.”
I chuckled a bit, & that inspired a questioning look from Tanya, but she didn’t know if she should ask it. Blessedly for Tanya, I had an idea of what the question might be. “The only reason your mother was open to me was because she was unsatisfied with your father & had been unsatisfied for some time if my guess is right.”
With a look of surprise Tanya dropped my hand slowly & took a step back. It wasn’t for the distance from me, but rather analyzing the information & her mother. “I guess that makes sense… so you don’t force women?”
“No, it is more trouble than it is worth. Guys like me don’t have to force women. Other women will throw themselves at my feet enough to abundantly cover for the ones who walk away. I suspect guys like your father have tastes that focus on much younger girls… but that is just a guess from his behavior, & my limited experience with rotten husbands & boyfriends.”
Tanya cocked her head at me with curiosity but ultimately decided to leave with her curiosity unsatisfied.
