How goes the bake sale at school?
C.R.E.A.M.
Friday, September 27th
“Okay, sweetie, that’s the last for now. Don’t forget to call me at your father’s office if you need the rest before the game,” Virginia Day told her daughter while getting back in her car.
“Yeah, yeah, I know,” Tinsley grumbled, handing off one of the containers to a Babybee.
“Have a great day, honey!” Virginia said as a partial goodbye before yelling her daughter’s name again through the open car window. “Remember, a smile is the key to success!”
With the school nearly empty an hour before classes started, Tinny hoped that no one had been around to see her mother doting on her. Instead, about fifteen feet from the doors, she saw Bridget and Tanith, her little cheersister, watching in amusement. Both wore their gold with black trim cheer uniforms, as was the custom on a game day. And with her hands full, the petite brunette couldn't stop her buxom blonde co-BFF from using her fingers to pry the surly girl's lips apart.
"A smile is the key to success, Tinsley. Mommy said so," Bridget teased, knowing Dr. Day's dental office had several versions of that saying hanging on the walls.
“Fuck off, and I think your key is a superduper pushup bra today,” she responded before turning to face Tanith. “And what’s so funny to you? Get back to work, Babybee!”
“Now, now, let’s not be rude to your helper. I hear Tanith was over helping until eleven last night,” Bridget commented, ignoring the comment about her higher-than-usual breasts. Sex appeal was indeed her selling point today.
“Eleven?! I was up baking until one in the morning, AND my mom woke me at five a.m.!” Tinny shouted as they entered the building.
Honey Hollow High School could be best described as the letter H connected to an oversized, sideways H underneath. The top H portion of the school held the academic classrooms on two levels, with the library located on the second-floor section that connected the two ends. The top of the sideways H section in the center of the school held most of the administration offices and formed a small enclosed courtyard to enjoy on warm days. The long section south of the offices held the school cafeteria and commons. The auditorium and gymnasium were located just south of the commons, with the art, music, and shop wing in the southernmost area of the school.
Located next door to the cafeteria, the commons were an open area with a middle section set several steps down in the center. Vending machines lined the walls on each side of the regular level, with benches alongside the lower-level half-walls on three sides. A ping pong table often sat in the lower section, but the girls had pushed it over. It was the side wall free of benches against the cafeteria that the cheer squad lined up their own tables.
Two folding tables sat in front, with another running down each side to form a semi-U-shape. A final table pushed against the wall served as a spot for the cash box, paper plates, napkins, and any necessary odds and ends.
"Whoa! What the fuck?" Tinny exclaimed, catching sight of the garish signs that Posey held. "Are you trying to make me vomit?"
“Sabrina, take a few girls with you and hang the signs in the high-traffic spots,” Shayla directed the JV captain while Haley grabbed a few to hang around the commons.
Over by the tables, Miranda helped decide on what items to display, how many, and on which tables. The blonde did this in consultation with the two non-cheerleaders, Cassie and Bailey.
"Rain's out in the circle and needs help," Zita announced, referring to the half-circle driveway in front of the commons.
Bridget quickly dispatched Kimberly and a couple of Babybees to lend a hand.
“Gawd, I can’t believe I have to go through another day with barely any sleep,” Tinny moaned, placing the last container of the pie slices she’d brought on a table.
“Lay off the complaining. Lemon looks like you sound,” Cassie pointed out before resuming her work.
The dark-blonde sophomore and baking enthusiast appeared ready to fall asleep standing up. A fact that two cheer coaches noticed immediately upon their arrival.
“Lemon, are you alright?” Sally Stall inquired with a concerned expression.
An athletic blonde with gray eyes and medium-sized breasts, the twenty-eight-year-old art teacher was promoted to head coach after a contentious debate over the summer. Sally, the former assistant cheer coach, and JV head coach had formed a strong bond with her squad's current junior and senior members. Unfortunately, the teenagers sometimes viewed her as more of a friend than an authority figure.
“It sounds like she was up baking all night,” Bridget relayed.
“There was so much to do,” Lemon stated, nearly falling over.
“Young lady, you need sleep. And since you’re in my first hour, you have my permission to take a nap,” Topaz declared. “We just need to find you a place to lie down.”
“That’s an excellent idea, and I know just the place,” Sally responded. "You can use my tiny office. I crammed in a small futon to sit on.”
Despite the pressure from the two teachers, Lemon agreed to use the art teacher’s office/storeroom, but only after they finished setting up. Tinny nearly raised her hand to ask for a nap until Bridget pushed it down.
“First off, the next time you decide to hold an emergency bake sale, I need to be the very first person told about it. The same goes for whatever mysterious change you’ve decided to make with the homecoming float,” Sally began, receiving half-hearted apologies in return. “Okay, next, we need to set up a schedule for sales.”
“I have study hall for third hour,” Miranda reminded everyone.
“I got it sixth,” Bridget added.
With five minutes of passing time between classes, the girls wanted to maximize their sales during those moments. Knowing past sales, the cheerleaders expected a few students to get permission to come down during classes to purchase a treat and flirt with a pretty girl.
Topaz pointed out that the school janitor would cover the first period, as that was one of the few slots in which neither the girls nor coaches would be available. The girls agreed to share duties while eating during the two lunch periods.
“Mr. Grummitt can help watch the table during his free time,” Cassie stated.
“Yeah, for a price,” Miranda pointed out, creating a few chuckles.
Already nearing retirement age, the history teacher was known for several things. First, he had no plans to retire. Second, his classes could be a bit boring. And finally, he had a sweet tooth.
“Hey, I’m willing to barter treats for him doing the work,” Tinny proclaimed gladly.
The double doors opened, ushering in Kimberly, Zita, and a couple of Babybees. They carried about half a dozen 12-packs of soda, two coolers, and bags of ice. Immediately, Sally questioned their items.
“Rain had the idea of expanding our sales by selling drinks. We’ll sell the cans cheaper than the machines,” Zita revealed, answering as Rain had to park her car. Then, seeing Bridget’s expression, she added, “Don’t worry. I got us a hook-up from my uncles.”
“Girls, you know that the administration won’t let you sell those,” Sally pointed out. The school wanted students to make those purchases from the vending machines, and even the addition of those had caused considerable debate.
“It’s a tossup if Busch or Lomax shut that down first,” Topaz added, referring to the school’s principal and assistant principal.
“That’s why we didn’t bring too much,” Zita said.
“And I’m sure we can sweet talk Busch long enough to sell most of them,” Annette laughed, causing her breasts to jiggle more than usual. Most students knew of the principal’s weakness for pretty girls.
“And if Lomax starts asking questions, we’ll just have Tin get in trouble to cause a distraction,” Bridget offered.
“Hey! Not cool,” the petite brunette cried.
“Annie, are you wearing a bra?” Topaz asked, immediately receiving an answer based on the teen’s expression.
“I’ll put it on before the game. I know the rules,” the busty brunette stated. “I promise!”
“Excuse me,” Bailey interrupted, holding up a hand as if in class. “I know I’m not a cheerleader, but I have a suggestion.”
Nearly every varsity cheerleader made a point to say Bailey’s ideas were welcome. They noted how helpful she’d been over the last two years. Shayla even gave her close friend a thank-you hug for all her help.
“Well, I just thought since it looks like we went overboard with all this,” Bailey said, gesturing to the tables. “Maybe we should have an extra location closer to the main classrooms.”
“Ooh! That’s a great idea, Bails,” Shayla cheered.
“And I know the perfect place. We should do it outside the library,” Cassie suggested.
“Do we have a small table? I doubt the school will let us put a long one like one of these up there,” Miranda guessed.
“I have a small card table in my room if someone wants to help carry it,” Sally said.
"Jack can do that," Lemon replied, gesturing to one of the commons benches. A young man sat there, looking unsure of what to do.
“Who’s this young man?” Sally questioned sweetly after finally noticing his presence. “Lemon, do you have a boyfriend I don’t know about?”
Lemon and Jack both looked sick at the thought as their eyes bugged out. Several other girls chuckled at their reactions and Miss Stall’s assumption.
“Damn, I didn’t know your family swung that way, Lem,” Tanith teased.
“This is Jack, Jack Hewitt. He’s my cousin,” the blonde Babybee clarified. “He helped with some baking last night and even made the honey and the triple chocolate chunk muffins.”
“Oh, I’m sorry,” Sally apologized with a mortified expression.
“Jack even rushed over to my house when Marielle and I had issues with our muffins,” Maura revealed. “He made quite a first impression on my little sister.”
“Ooh!” several girls sounded.
“It’s not a big deal. My sister is as big a baking fanatic as Lemon,” Jack shrugged. “I just picked stuff up over the years.”
“Oh! You’re Jillian’s brother,” Sally realized.
While the art teacher reminisced about a favorite student, Tinny leaned over toward Bridget and asked who.
“I barely knew her. She was a year older than Bev and had huge boobs,” Bridget recalled.
“The one that Bev was jealous of? Yep, I remember her,” Tinny chuckled.
As students trickled into the parking lot, Sally took Jack to her room to get the card table. Lemon went along to grab a nap. Then, with Rain arriving, she gathered Kimberly, Haley, and a small selection of goodies to take to their second location. That left Topaz to head down to the office to get permission after the fact.
“Psst! Cass! Psst!” a voice hissed by a side table.
Cassie looked up to find an anxious Felicity. The Sugarbee bounced from foot to foot before shoving a container forward.
“Here,” she whispered.
“What is…Fliss!” Cassandra exclaimed, causing the dancer to shush her. Opening the tin, the bookish redhead discovered blue-frosted cookies with the Cookie’s Monster’s face on them. “Wha–You shouldn’t have–”
“I’m so sorry. It’s only two dozen. And I couldn’t make my bumblebee ones, or she’d know,” Felicity whispered conspiratorily before scurrying off.
“Thank you. Please come again,” Posey droned, handing the change to a delighted sophomore.
“Cash rules everything around me,” Bridget sang, taking the money from the Babybee.
“Dollar, dollar bill, y’all,” Tinny finished, hopping off the back table.
A senior with short sandy-brown hair stepped forward next. Scanning the table, Steve Gorman smacked his lips, rubbed his stomach, and made pleasurable moans. With his eyes becoming laser-focused on the pie squares, Steve occasionally glanced up at each cheerleader behind the table.
"Mmh, such sumptuous-looking pies; I wonder whom–I mean, whichever one I should taste."
“I think you know the one, buster,” Tinny stated, placing her hands on her hips. It made for a compelling sight for many guys milling around.
"Ah, but I like cherry pies, and I don't think you have one, do you?" Steve queried, leaning down to smell the talked-about pies.
“Oh, I think I have a final cherry left somewhere,” Tinny replied, earning a few groans and giggles from the students in line. Behind the petite brunette, Cassie shuddered while Bridget and Shayla shared an unspoken communication.
“Well, I sure know that I can’t wait to taste all your pies,” Steve continued his innuendo while selecting a pecan pie square.
Looking down at the lone item, Tinny raised her eyes to meet his.
“You’re gonna need to buy a whole lot more than that if you wanna sample any of my pie after the dance. Got that?” Steve added an apple, causing Tinny to shake her head.
“Uh, I’ll get a couple more after school,” Steve muttered.
“And at the game, right?” Tinny pushed her homecoming date, earning a swift nod back.
"Alright, alright, move along, Gorman. You had plenty of time to make your asinine point," a stocky red-haired senior declared, ushering Steve away.
“Who died and made you Bake Sale Bouncer, Taulsen?” Steve challenged, and a few jealous guys agreed.
“My sister did,” Thane replied. That shut up most of the grumbling, as everyone wanted to be on the good side of the former Topaz Taulsen.
“Mrs. Brass is an angel in my dreams every night,” somebody catcalled from the back of the line.
Thane leaned up on his toes to see who spoke, but a cluck of Miranda's tongue brought the longtime cheer squad helper back over. Having an older sister as a member and captain meant that Thane spent much of his childhood hanging around the group. At first, he was an unhappy kid, but after puberty hit, the redhead grew a deep appreciation/fetish for cheerleaders.
"Hello, Graham. What would you like to have?" Bridget greeted the younger brother of her older sister's ex-boyfriend. As per her routine today, the busty blonde placed her palms on the table's edge and leaned forward, showcasing her pushed-up breasts in their semi-tight uniform top.
“Uh, me like, I mean…um, big, so gib, I mean, uh squishy, so squishable,” Graham Diamond sputtered mostly unintelligible words while looking between his longtime crush’s face, her bust, and the delicious treats.
Bridget laughed as the junior completely froze up. However, Graham’s behavior didn’t sit well with his upcoming homecoming date. Haley stepped forward to mimic Bridget’s stance, even giving her captain a slight nudge with her hip.
“Well?” the high-energy girl challenged.
“Uh, take I’ll a brownie caramel,” the tongued-tied teen managed to get out.
"Good call," Haley responded, picking up one of the brownies she and Zita had baked. Then, a frown formed as Graham also selected a Rice Krispie Treat. "Not so good a call."
“Oh, I don’t know, Hales. I think Graham is just being a Diamond by pushing for the dream team trio,” Bridget tittered.
“Um, I have everything ready for the dance. Do you need anything?” Graham asked, now able to speak again.
“What did you have to do? You own a tux, unlike us simpletons that need to rent one,” Oliver Ragg said, teasing his friend as he joined him at the table.
“Now, let’s go easy on Diamond, Ollie. He’s the one nice guy in school that owns his own tux, maybe even two,” Abacus Kessler added, coming up on Ragg’s other side.
“Hey!” a red-haired junior in line exclaimed, raising his hands.
“Whoops! Sorry, Quillan, you’re cool too,” Oliver called over.
“Yep, those parties you throw make you a decent guy, Falkenburg,” Abacus added.
The pack of juniors moved on, leading to several seniors at the bake sale table. Sizing up Rick Trask and Grant Harlow, Annette stepped forward, pushing the other cheerleaders out of the way.
“See anything you like, boys?” the brunette questioned, running a hand down her chest. She did this while pointing with the other one toward a mostly full plate of cake balls.
“Are those yours, Miss St. Pierre?” Rick asked, reverting to his usual flirty way.
"They are," Annette breathed huskily. Then, picking up one of the small balls, she rubbed it between her palms. "I spent all night creating these round mounds of tastiness all by myself. And do you know why?"
"I thought your kid sister helped?" Tinny challenged from her spot, leaning against the back table.
"It's because I love big, beautiful balls," Annette continued despite the momentary scowl. Adding a second cake ball to her free hand, she hefted both in front of her face. "I just love a pair of these when they're ready to sate my appetite."
“Y-You d-do,” Grant stammered.
“Oh, I do. But first, they deserve proper attention,” Annette said with a wink.
The slutty brunette’s tongue darted out to gently lick the two treats. Next, with the crowd beginning to murmur, Annette’s tongue started to swirl around each orb.
“Hey, Duke, are those yours?” Keegan Randle shouted, garnering a few laughs.
"Yo, man. Why you gotta go there because they're chocolate?" Duke Hager shot back. Still, the sizeable defensive end wouldn't allow the class clown to get the last laugh. "Them tiny things must be yours as my boys are giants."
With the crowd laughing back at Keegan, Annette waited until she regained their attention. Once that happened, she gently bit into each cake ball with a loud, orgasmic-sounding moan.
“Don’t forget to vote for me, boys,” Annette throatily reminded.
“I’m totally voting for you, Annie!” a cry came from the rear.
“Me too!”
Behind Annette, Tinny rolled her whole head to mock her fellow cheermate. The petite brunette even started to stick her finger down her throat until Bridget elbowed her and nodded forward. Seeing the next arrivals cut in front of the line, Tinny gathered herself.
“You better suck on real ones if you intend to make the homecoming court,” Gemma remarked. She stepped to the table, flanked by her co-captain, Didi, and her sophomore protégé, Josie Jinkerson.
“Why? Are you planning to spread your legs for votes?” Miranda challenged, stepping forward to defend her best friend.
“As if. We all know that Bridget’s the one that will be hitting the…bedsheets…Felicity!” Gemma’s insult faltered as she spotted a cookie she’d seen made since grade school.
“Yes?” the bubbly blonde responded, darting forward but not getting too close to her dance captain.
“What are your Cookie Monster cookies doing there?” Gemma demanded to know while gesturing at the table.
“Mine? No, no, those aren’t mine at all. Why would they be?” Felicity denied. Then she dropped her voice after noticing a mistake. “The eyes. Oh, dear, I screwed up the eyes on that one.”
“Not yours? That’s your cookie tin back there,” Didi said, pointing at the back table.
"Wha? No! A lot of people own that same container," Felicity countered before her eyes widened at the lid. It had Property of F. Witt written in bright pink marker. Realizing that she'd been caught, the ditzy blonde started rambling. "It's not my fault! I can't help it. I can't just stand by and not help. Not when the less fortunate need me! I wouldn't be able to live with myself, and I'd be up all night."
"Arrgh!" Gemma sounded, balling her hands into fists to control her anger. But, despite being upset, she wasn't fully surprised by what her squadmate did. "The cheerleaders are not underprivileged, Fliss. They're just terrible at managing their money."
However, another Sugarbee didn’t have a problem rushing over to get in the kindly girl’s face.
“This is disloyalty!” Josie yelled, jabbing her finger in Felicity’s face. “We should hold an immediate vote to expel this traitor!”
“Traitor? Like Benedict Arnold? Me?” The blonde’s shock turned to glistening eyes.
“Whoa! Simmer down, kid,” Danika Huskova remarked, walking over to join her dancemates.
Suddenly, a dark-haired brunette rushed down the stairs to place herself in between Felicity and Josie. Naomi Fitch wasted little time coming to her friend’s defense by shoving the uppity sophomore away from Felicity.
“Back the fuck off, bitch!” Naomi shouted. “You are way out of line!”
“Me? I just discovered a cheer-spy,” Josie shot back.
That allegation earned plenty of laughter from the on-lookers, including the cheer squad.
“Ding, ding, ding!” Tinny sounded. “It looks like we have a winner for stupidest Sugarbee. What does our contestant win, Hales?”
“She wins a lifetime supply of shame and ridicule down at The Beehive!” Haley announced in her game show announcer voice.
The mockery set off a series of shouts, insults, and catcalls that threatened to get out of hand.
CLAP CLAP CLAP
All eyes turned to the dashingly handsome and physically fit blond who stepped forward while clapping. Fitting the image of a prototypical quarterback, McCoy Quarry backed up the look while serving as a leader and star on the field. With two of his closest friends, Wayne Parker and Brock Beal, flanking him, Coy stepped forward to break up the bickering.
"Ladies, please," Coy started, motioning with his hands to settle down. Used to him making the same move to quiet down a crowd during a game, the pair of rival squads went silent. "Isn't it wonderful to see our two beautiful squads coming together? I commend Felicity for showing unity before our big game tonight. Well, isn't it, people? Let's give Felicity a big hand!"
People cheered the now blushing and embarrassed dancer. Naomi gave her friend a pat on the arm while Bridget led a round of applause from her squad. Meeting Coy’s gaze, she grinned when he sent a wink her way but went stone-faced when he turned his winning smile toward Gemma.
“Isn’t that the school spirit we all want to see?” the star quarterback asked, earning cheers.
“I just want another of Mrs. Ridge’s peanut butter bars,” Barnabas Kessler declared, perfectly willing to step on Coy’s big moment. Moving forward, the linebacker cut in front of not only the line but the quarterback. “Yo, hit me up, Tin.”
“Mrs. Ridge’s what?” Didi screeched. “Elliot, you sold us out, too?!”
“He sells out everyone,” Tinny remarked, handing the treat to the older Kessler brother. Unlike her rival, the petite brunette knew her prank war counterpart had lunch during the other period this semester.
"No one is selling anyone out. Let's stop arguing, girls," Coy continued, getting dirty looks from Tinny and Didi. "It's time to focus on the real enemy today. It's time to focus on Beakburg. Am I right, or what? Let's down the Bluebirds. Let's clip their wings!"
“Clip their wings! Clip their wings!” The crowd chanted, already ready for the football game tonight.
What happens at the game?
