Alice’s “friends”

“Hey, Alice,” Stacey said. “Aren’t those your friends?”

Alice looked over to see Chelsea and her friends huddled together. Stacey smirked as she began pushing Alice over to them. “W-wait,” Alice said.

Stacey ignored Alice and smiled. “Hello, how are you all doing?”

Chelsea looked over and grinned. “Oh, hi Alice, this must be your stepsister right? Stacey?”

Chelsea held out her hand and Stacey shook it. “I was just getting Alice some new clothes for the school year,” Stacey said as she gestured to the cart filled with embarrassing underwear and clothes.

Chelsea smiled. “Oh… well I’d love to help you. We were just making plans to go to the pool. We want to go before it closes for the year. We’d love it if Alice joined.”

Stacey smiled. “Oh… that’d be wonderful. But we’d need to find Alice a swimsuit to wear.”

Chelsea grinned. “I have the perfect idea.”
