Spencer’s Turn (Leather Lover)

“Ok. I will only draw once.” Spencer said as he reached for his card.

Spencer’s token walking forward five spaces.

“Leather Lover - You find people wearing leather sexy and will only feel dressed wearing at least one piece of leather clothing, gear, or accessor, regardless of if the leather is fake or real.” Spencer read off the card.

“I end my turn” Spencer said and immediately the tokens returned to their dormant state.

“The game’s over for now. Now show us how powerful the game is.” Kyle said with a questioning tone.

“Sure. Take out your phone and look at a photo of Damien from before.” Logan ordered Kyle knowing what was going to happen.

As instructed Kyle took out his phone and opened his camera and looked for an old photo of Damien coming across one soon enough. Being unable to believe what he sees he decided to check another and another with the same result causing his face to distort in both confusion and terror.

Not wanting to believe that the game can just change the past, Kyle asks Spencer “Could you check your old photos of Damien?”

Seeing the look of terror on Kyle’s face Spencer quickly checks his old photos of Damien and finds they have Damien’s new tail and ears in them.

“What! How come your new ears and tail are in these old photos of you?” Spencer asks Damien, giving Kyle the answer he needed to know.

“We know that the game can change reality, but we think that both the temporary and permanent cards change the person going forward.” Damien said and had Logan finish his statement.

“While the permanent cards also change reality so that the world thinks that the person was always like that.” Logan finished since he had the most experience with those cards.

“So, why can we remember what Damien used to be like but not you?” Kyle said, directing the question to Logan.

“Probably because you guys joined after the changes on me happened, but before the changes on Damien happened.” Logan answered.

“Hey are you okay?” Damien asked Spencer who kept fidgeting in the corner.

After being taken note of Spencer immediately turned beet red and tried covering his groin as if he was naked.

“Sorry, I know I’m currently dressed but I just can’t shake the feeling of being completely naked. Just my luck that today I didn’t wear my leather belt.” Spencer somehow sputtered out in an embarrassed voice.

Remembering the card that Spencer pulled, everyone else had a moment of realization. Spencer was fine before since Spencer was sitting on a fake leather chair but now he was standing in the corner.

“Why don’t both of you head home for the night. Just don’t forget to come back before the next round.” Logan said to break the growing discomfort and give Spencer a chance to return to his car with its leather seats.

“Sure, that sounds like a plan, why don’t you drive me back to my house.” Kyle said as he headed to Spencer’s car.

“Ok” Spencer responded as he was rushing out to his car.
