Chapter 6 by TheDespaxas TheDespaxas

What is wrong with the schedule?

He volunteered for a lot more than a single class.

K-T couldn't easily find which class had been switched because his schedule was unrecognizable. To begin with it was his schedule for the day or the week, but for the entire month. Then there were strange symbols on some classes, many periods had been replaced by various classes and he had extra periods added after classes or even the weekend.

"I think you gave me the wrong thing, this isn't my schedule." he told her, showing her the sheet of paper.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Let me check." She told him, reading the form she had given to him. "No, no mistakes. This is your new schedule."

"This isn't possible. I'm just supposed to model for one class. Which one is it?" he asked her.

"What do you mean by supposed to? The modeling contract you signed engage yourself to model for the school at any time or place where scholastic activities are taking place until the start of the next school year. You will receive your monthly schedule on time, don't worry."

K-T didn't understand, but he couldn't really explain his situation. His art teacher told him that if he made it known she asked him to volunteer he wouldn't be able to receive any grade for it, which meant a failing grade in her class and then failing the year.

Seeing as he did reply, she continued "The entire faculty was really excited last night. We don't have the budget to pay for models and since we can't remunerate or give any rewards to students who volunteer it's really rare to find anyone willing to do so."

K-T studied the schedule more closely and began to understand it better. There were three kinds of modifications from his regular schedule. Some of his normal classes had stars in the corner, which meant that he would be expected to model during these. For all of his free periods and some of his less important classes he was to report to other classes to model instead. And there were entirely new activities that had been added that he recognized as some of the school's clubs or sport practices.

"It's just... It's a lot. I didn't expect for it to be that much... Would there be a way to reduce it a little bit?"

"I'm afraid not. Like I explained it yesterday, it is a contract, you committed to this knowing full well what you signed. Outside of justified emergencies, if there is a seance you cannot be there for, you need to give us a week notice so that we can move it around."

"But what if I can't?"

"Then you expose yourself to disciplinary action, but if it is determined that you deliberately put yourself in breach of contract, then you won't be able to graduate from this school without corrective actions to remedy this situation. You don't want that. " the last part had been declared as an unbreakable fact rather than a comment.

"Now hurry up, you wouldn't want to be late for your first modeling session." She told him with a smile.

He got outside of the office, cursing his stupidity, both for not reading the contract, but also for thinking for a second that he could catch a break and have something good happen to him.

What is the first class of this new schedule? One of his own classes with a twist, or an unknown one with strangers?
