They're making a list and checking it twice

“Okay adding a Caulifa for training, a Bonnie Ann for parkour, an Ada Wong for anti-zombie training, and finally a Marcie for Gaige to torment, “ Ahsoka said as she added the last of the characters to the Collins Chattel Palace online cart, “that's 172 characters for James to pick from.” The harem had quickly grabbed towels and turned off the grills to follow Gaige to the closest computer. There was still a trail of water leading from the sliding door to the group crowded around Ahsoka’s computer. She had managed to get the voucher from Gaige. They had carefully checked the voucher’s validity and looked up the rules for redemption.

“I still think we should try to see if we can bundle some of them,” Gwen Stacy interjected. “Some of the wording makes me think we can get a bunch of lower grade characters or one of their premium characters. Maybe James would want quantity or quality?”

“And some of the options are combined characters.” Erza said as she took over the mouse and keyboard and showed some human centipede characters, fusion characters, and cerberus characters. “If they count as only one, James could just take them apart at his job, couldn’t he?”

“Hey, is it a good idea to have them added to the shopping cart? What if we accidentally checkout?” Marinette asked, knowing how easy it was to accidentally purchase things online. She had a massive crate of day-glo and neon plaid fabric in her room back in her home universe before she got snatched and sold.

“It's perfectly safe,” Ahsoka said as she went to the checkout and attempted to make the multi-million dollar purchase and, to the relief of several members of the group, was locked out and a pop up appeared saying ‘unauthorized character making massive purchase’. “See? No problem.”

“Ki Kirl Lia!” Exclaimed Pixel the Kirlia as she popped up in Ahsoka’s lap. Almost immediately, the popup changed to ‘Authorized Character present, authorize purchase?’. Pixel perked up and went to smash a hand on the keyboard.

“Stop her!” Almost immediately, several things happened. Ahsoka grabbed her arm, Gwen Stacy shot her webs at Pixel, Katara used the water still dripping off everyone to freeze Pixel’s arm, Gwen Tennyson sent out a mana beam to encase Pixel, and nearly everyone else tried to physically stop Pixel all at once. The end result? The harem were sent sprawling on the ground with Pixel whining in her various restraints. Thankfully, the desk was not a casualty and the computer remained awaiting input.

“Seriously? The pet has authorization but not you?” Laura complained as she huffed under the pile of towel clad girls. Pixel interrupts her whining to give Laura a smug look.

“What is going on here?” Someone said causing the group to stop their struggles. They looked at the doorway and saw Aelita and Starfire in the doorway while others were peeking from the side. “Is everyone okay?” Nuelssa, Shampoo, Kyouka, and a woken up Valkyrie started helping the girl pile get untangled and soon everyone was standing up and Katara was unfreezing Pixel. Ahsoka quickly explained what happened and the list the group had created.

“Friends, this is my sister,” Starfire introduced the surprisingly silent Blackfire to the group while Aelita looked over the list.

“I guess we can remove Blackfire from the list,” Gaige said, checking out Blackfire’s skimpy outfit and the various marks on her body.

“You can also remove Catwoman, James has one as a fuckbuddy over at one of the Cat’s Meow locations, same for Bloom, Flora, and Cornelia at a flower shop,” Aelita noted as she removed the respective characters from the list. She quickly removed several others, mumbling comments such as ‘bad experience with her’, ‘there are already three of them in his siblings’ harem’, and ‘she torched his car on one of our dates’.

“The Jinx should not be on the list, James luck is not that good outside gambling games,” Starfire commented as she drifted over to the computer. “Princess Jasmine, not good, last one was very arrogant and tried to feed me to her tiger. Why is another me here? I am enough Starfire for him. No Maron of ‘DBZA’, the last one we met on vacation stole all of James and Friend Krillin’s money.” Starfire removed the respective characters before going back to introducing Blackfire.

In a dark house, an unnaturally pale figure was staring at their camera feed. They grinned as they observed a transforming van become a normal car and the Prime Worlder woman with brown hair and green highlights drop off some characters and drive off. He zoomed in with the digital telescope connected to his computer to view the inside of the house he was observing.

“Soon, once more another art piece will grace my halls,” he said stroking the image of the harem around a computer. He scowled, recalling seeing his neighbor break into HIS trash cans and taking HIS broken masterpieces. He hated the grateful cries HIS masterpieces would give that MEDDLER when he dragged them from the trash where they BELONGED for failing to withstand longer. Their screams were supposed to be their LAST and yet his neighbor managed to find and SAVE THEM! Profiting off HIS HARD WORK and bringing them back into the light. The pale figure rubbed his long pink nose as he growled, thinking about how some of HIS masterpieces managed to escape their fun.

The pale figure has noticed that his neighbor, the so called ‘James’ has not been home for a few days now. The BLASTED Prime Worlder who picked up some of the characters was a hitch in his plans but now that they are all back, he had easy pickings now. Just have to wait for the perfect moment now. With a click, Phil Bourgarde took several pictures of the harem which immediately started printing.

As Ahsoka was finishing her introduction to Blackfire, she felt a disturbance and looked outside but did not notice anyone outside. As a precaution, she closed the blinds before going back to the conversation. She was determined to try to get some of her friends from her home universe back on the list.
