Kayla adds a lot of the WGXXL to the cake

Kayla, in her spiteful rage and overall lack of oversight, dumped all the containers of the supplement into the new batch of cake batter. The batter became thicker and creamier, Kayla was tempted to sample it, but she felt that might not be a good idea, but it smelled so sweet and good. She caught herself almost dipping a finger in. She quickly turned on the mixer and stepped away, taking a moment to calm herself.

Eventually, though, the batter was mixed, the layers baked, the icing applied artfully, packaged and refrigerated. However, Kayla smudged some numbers and made sure there would be plenty to eat, whether this was going to be all for the bride, or for the full wedding party, she didn't know. She just knew someone, hopefully at least Mara Jane, would be plumped beyond belief.

The day of the wedding came, and vans were loaded with food to serve, and well dressed employees to do the serving. Kayla and Micah, whom she regarded as handsome, being slightly shorter than her, with short blonde hair and brown eyes, were setting up the main buffet table. When, of course, Mara Jane recognized Kayla.

"Kayla? Oh my gosh! Kayla, is that you?" Mara Jane chirped, not yet dressed in her gown.

"Mara Jane... It's so, uh, good to see you!" Kayla tried to keep her face in a smile and not a sneer as she greeted her former friend.

"I didn't know you worked for this company! I would've hired them first thing." Mara excitedly exclaimed

"Yes, well, I'm glad you chose First Round Catering anyway, so we could share this... happy exchange." Kayla continued with her customer service voice as Micah continued setting the table. "I think you'll really like the cake we have for you." Kayla smirked slightly, reveling in her own anticipation.

"I hope so, I sampled a bunch of them." Mara Jane chuckled.

"Yea, extra care was taken to make it just that much more perfect for your special day." Kayla was now fully genuinely smiling.

"Well, thanks... and, no hard feelings?" Mara Jane lost her smile for a second, possibly acknowledging what she had done to Kayla.

"You're welcome, uh, I-- uh" Kayla was taken totally aback by the gesture, she was flabbergasted, "Well--" she started before her manager called her over to help move something, "We can talk later." Kayla quickly walked over, thankful that she was able to dodge that.

Kayla remained busy throughout the ceremony, not that she wanted to watch Mara jane and her crush, Simon, exchange vows anyway.

The happy couple made their way to the reception, and after a little eating, they went up to cut the cake. Kayla watched with laser focus as Simon expertly cut a slice out and pushed it towards Mara Jane's mouth. Mara bit into it, then another bite, and it was gone, swallowed, entering her system, doing things to her.

Now, Kayla would see what happened.
