Ambushed!

"So, what does the BSAA know about me?" Ada asked as the pair skulked through the lab.

Jill, still all business, provided a blunt response. "Enough to know not to trust you."

"Huh. That's a shame," Ada smirked. "I was hoping maybe you were open enough to give me some juicy BSAA info."

"I'm not some gullible rookie, Wong. From what I've read about you, I figured you'd have done enough research on me to know that."

"Can't blame a girl for trying," Ada shrugged. Ada did, indeed know about Jill Valentine; she'd done her homework. Though they didn't cross paths at the time, both women were involved in the Raccoon City incident all those years ago, albeit in very different roles. On the other hand, their day-to-day careers since then had often been almost identical -- raiding biology labs around the world -- even if their intentions were different. Well, actually, Ada's intentions had always been shrouded in mystery. Jill, however, was looking to shut down whatever groups like these were doing. Raccoon City had been a living hell, and she was determined to stop the possible rise of another Umbrella.

The pair turned another corner, somewhat unprepared for how empty the lab was. In a typical Umbrella lab, there was no shortage of zombies, infected, and mutated horrors lurking around most corners. Getting so far into the lab without encountering anything was disarming for both women.

"Strange." Jill noted. "Usually by now, I've come face to face with at least a few infected..."

Ada nodded uneasy agreement. "Same here. But this place doesn't look abandoned--"

"BEHIND YOU!" Jill yelled, pointing her pistol at the head of a monstrous man who'd lurched out of the shadows." Ada turned, and the pair started firing at the beast. Despite riddling the monster with bullets, they were barely able to slow it down, and with two quick swings, the monster knocked both women ****.

"Excellent work, my pet," A strikingly attractive woman commended the monster as she strolled into the room. "I knew we'd have trespassers eventually... oh, my! And such beautiful trespassers, at that! These two will make perfect test subjects."

The woman pulled out a syringe and injected Jill with something, before doing the same to Ada. She then turned to to monster, who apparently was at her back and call. "Astarias, be a dear and take these women to the observation room for me, won't you? Oh, this is exciting..."
