Chapter 25 by LustThePoet LustThePoet

What's next?

Sunday - Working Session

I barely have time to hide Brad's book in my closet before Ashley barges into my room with her laptop and plops onto my bed.

"Ash, uh, miss me that much already?" I ask, closing my closet door behind me.

She rolls her eyes, a pinkish hue on her cheeks, and taps the spot beside her on my bed. "I need to talk to you. Last night, after we spoke, I set up some affiliate marketing to start running while I slept. The campaign is already underway now and we're receiving positive traction even now. It's wild, to be honest. I've never seen a product take off so quickly. Let me show you."

I sit down beside her and she pulls up a complicated dashboard showing multiple charts with various trendlines and statistical metrics. "Our click-through percentage is twenty percent. Dom, that is literally unheard of. Most people are thankful for a one percent click-through rate. We already have a few hundred people on our mailing list."

"Okay, well, that alone doesn't get us paid, right?"

"Well, no." She gives me a funny look and I smile. "But it's still good. It means we're much more likely to make money later."

I wrap an arm around her and press her into the crook of my shoulder. "Don't worry, dear sister. I'm not trying to kill your buzz or anything." I let go, and she slowly sits back up with a funny look on her face. "What's next?"

"Well, I keep the marketing going. We'll have to sink some funds into it, of course, but with these results, we'll have a growing user base in no time. This means, however, that we need to keep the momentum going. We can leverage this mailing list to showcase our other products, hopefully creating some cross-pollination and pushing those forward even faster."

"So what I'm hearing is, 'Hey Dom, why're you out walking around? Kick it into gear.' Is that right?"

"Yeah, basically." She giggles and stands up, laptop in hand. "A couple more apps like this floating around, and we might get to go on that date one day."

"Oh, that is only a matter of when, not if," I say, my voice suddenly serious. I stand up and look down at my petite sister, staring into her eyes. She meets my gaze and her blush deepens, until she breaks away with a nervous cough.

"Uh, I'll catch you later, kay?"

"See ya, Ash."

Then she's gone, as quickly as she entered. I sink into my desk and continue into our next project. Thanks to the leg work that I did in the previous project, I'm able to reuse many of the same components and build a strong minimum viable product before dinner. I deploy it into production just before heading downstairs.

To my surprise, Colette and my aunt have joined us for dinner. Mom is behind the stove like always, although tonight she wears something a little more formal. A simple cotton dress in a creme color, with lace across the back and edges. Her hair is curled and falls down her back in warm blonde ringlets.

At the table, Ashley and Kelly sit with Colette and Aunt Esmere. My sisters are also dressed casually, Ashley in a pair of denim shorts and tee shirt, while Kelly wears a yellow tanktop and khaki low-rise shorts. Colette wears a blue cotton dress and has her hair straightened, perfectly parted down the middle, while my aunt wears a floor-length summer dress that accentuates her height and beauty. Unlike her sister, Aunt Esmere is tall and lean, her face a mixture of dark beauty and smoky glares. She works as a fitness instructor, somehow still managing to pay for her and Colette's home after her husband divorced her some years ago.

"Dom!" she beams, standing and swallowing me in a hug as I come near.

"Hey, Esmere," I murmur into her ear. She's as tall as me and probably fitter, but those qualities are lost on me as I feel her small breasts press against my chest.

"Geez, Mom, leave him alone," Colette's high voice says from behind her. My cousin gives me a smirk, and I wink at her.

"Ah, Colette. Didn't you hear? Dom graduated from college!" She breaks away and pokes me in the chest. "And. You. Didn't. Tell. Me. I didn't even know you were in school! I had to find out from Lily via text message!"

"If it makes you feel better, he didn't tell me until right after it happened, either," Mom says from the kitchen. I notice she is almost done cooking, so I walk over to help her carry things to the table. Ashley has already grabbed two extra chairs for Colette and Esmere to sit in, so the others take their seats.

"Thanks for the help, dear," Mom whispers, as I carry a plate of chicken to the table.

"Anything for you, remember," I say back, giving her a sly smile. She blushes but says nothing.

"I don't think it makes me feel much better," Esmere continues. "Colette, did you know? And in computer science, no less. Isn't that what you want to study, dear?"

Colette rolls her eyes. "Well, kind of. I want to study artificial intelligence. You'd know that if you listened to me, ever."

"Sounds like mumbo-jumbo to me," Kelly interjects, looking up from her phone. I smile at my sister, then at the girls around me, before returning to the kitchen to help Mom with the last plates.

"So, what's the plan now, Dom?" Aunt Esmere asks as we start eating. She pokes a vegetable with her fork, drawing it to her mouth and taking a bite with a soft smile. "Lily, I always forget how wonderful your cooking is."

"Well, I have to be good at something, don't I?" Mom answers, dabbing her oil-stained lips with a napkin. I find myself entranced at the sight of her dragging the soft cotton against her skin, her lips deforming beneath it, still glistening.

"You good?" Colette's voice breaks my trance and I turn to look at her. "Looked a little zoned out there."

"Oh, I'm alright," I say, once again admiring my cousin's beauty. I turn back to her mother and answer, "Well, I did receive my degree. I've decided to start building commercial software and products. I've already built a few, which I used to help finance my education." Esmere's eyebrow raises in surprise. "Actually, Ashley is helping me now. I build the product, she sells it. It's going quite well, I think."

"I had no idea you were so industrious," Esmere says in an amused voice, while Colette gives me an odd stare.

"Very surprising from the cousin that barely graduated high school," Colette says, her eyes still narrowed.

"Colette!" Esmere admonishes, her narrow features turning to blister her daughter.

"No, she is right," I answer. I look at each woman at the table in turn as I speak, saying, "Colette is exactly right. And that's the point. Shit, I barely made it through high school and we all know college was never going to happen. I've been a leech on Mom and Ashley since the day I turned eighteen." Mom starts to speak, but I hold a hand up to stop her. "No, Mom, we all know it's true." I turn back to Collete, meeting her heavy stare. "I woke up one day, and I realized what a fuck-up I was. And I knew I wanted to change it." Of course, I left out that that day was only a few weeks ago and it was due to a superpowered mind-****, but no one needs to know that. "I started studying, building, working. I did it in secret because I knew my failure would only create more disappointment. I didn't tell anyone until I was taking my exams, and even then I only told a select few. I'm working to make up for my past behaviors, one step at a time." I turn back to Esmere and meet her gaze, recognizing a faint blush on her cheeks. I feel an inner surprise at my speech, but my mind knows it is right. The nootropic continues to guide my words. "I told Mom this. I told Kelly, and Ashley too. Now, I'll say the same to you and Colette. You're my family. I am here for you. For whatever you need. Whenever, whatever, no exceptions."

Silence fills the air as I finish speaking. After a few moments, Colette says, "Nice."

Kelly busts into a hearty laugh, and we return to normalcy. Esmere continues to look at me with a peculiar look throughout dinner, my words undoubtedly weighing upon her.

An hour later, my nootropic is wearing off and the plates are in the dishwasher. Mom and Esmere sit in the living room, talking, while Colette and Kelly have already left to go back to whatever they've been doing. I find Ashley sitting in my room, working on her laptop. "I didn't know they were coming for dinner," I say, as I enter the room and stretch out on my bed behind her. Ashley gives me a look and places her laptop down on my bedside table, before turning to face me.

"Apparently Mom arranged it earlier while you were working. She said they would be happy to see you or something. Seems like she was right."

"Hm, I'll have to say thank you. I enjoyed seeing them."

"Well, I'll leave you alone now. I'm sure you want to rest."

"Actually, I finished the second app. We can take a look if you want."

"Seriously? Already? You worked on it for like six hours, max."

I shrug.

"Well," she continues, "let's see what it is."

I pull up the new website on her phone and show her the functionality I implemented, just like she had imagined. It is still a basic website, of course, but the core product offering is there. She shakes her head and looks through the pages.

"I can see how you re-used a lot from the other project, which is great. Dom, this is awesome. I can sell this, for real."

Finished, she closes her laptop and puts it on the bed beside her. "I can't believe you're able to build these things so quickly. What are you, some kind of super genius?"

"Well, I am a college-educated man..." I start in a mock-English voice, and she punches me with a giggle.

"Oh, fuck off," she laughs, and heads to the door. She looks back as she is about to walk out, and I see a strange glimmer in her eyes. Unfortunately, my sober mind isn't able to process it and the moment passes.

I checked the clock and see it is nearly nine in the evening. Not particularly late, but my mind is sagging under the weight of the day. I head downstairs to make a glass of water before going to shower and sleep, but I pause when I see Esmere and Mom still sitting in the living room on one of our couches. I quietly walk over to them and see Mom asleep on the couch, while Esmere is playing on her phone.

"Still hanging around?" I ask in a low voice.

"Oh!" Esmere yelps, dropping her phone and jumping in her seat. She turns to look at me and I am, once again, even in my sober mind, struck by her beauty. She stands from the couch and grabs her phone, then meets my gaze. Her eyes are level with mine due to her height, with satin tendrils of dark brown hair curling against her cheeks. Esmere walks around the side of the couch and swats my chest, smiling at me. Her thin fingers linger on my chest for a moment too long, and I recognize an odd look in her eyes even despite the lack of nootropics in my veins.

She looks back at Mom and then back at me, saying, "Maybe you should help her upstairs. It's time for me to go home, anyways." She gives me another smile, then wraps me in one last hug. My arms wrap around her narrow waist and she presses herself into me, and a jolt of hunger strikes me as I feel her petite breasts press against me once again. "Bye, Dom," she says, then breaks our embrace. As she walks towards the door, her long dress swaying in the air with each sashay of her hips, she turns back and says, "Stop by sometime soon, I feel like we haven't seen you forever. Our pool is already open, you know. Come for a swim."

"I will," I answer, smiling at my aunt as the door closes behind her.

I turn back to Mom, still asleep on the couch. I sit down beside her for a moment, watching her chest rise and fall with heavy breaths. Her legs are stretched out on the couch beside me, and I can't help but begin to massage her feet as they press against my thigh. The moment I touch her foot, she sinks closer to me and rests her feet on the top of my thighs. A faint murmur escapes her lips, completely unintelligible to my sober senses.

I gently massage her toes and soles, sinking into my thoughts as I press into the tissue beneath her soft skin. I realize that, unlike before, my nootropic desires are bleeding over into my sober mind. Had I looked at my sisters like that before? My aunt? Colette? I turn my gaze back to Mom, watching her sleeping form. Despite myself, I can't help but admire her in a way that no son should.

I run my hand from her foot, down her shin, and around her leg to her calve. I press into it with my fingers, diving into the fibrous muscle and resolving the knots within it. Mom squirms beneath me, her breathing coming in heavier gasps. I switch to her other leg, reveling in the feeling of her, and continue my massage. Mom continues to squirm, murmuring to herself with a smile on her face. Her short summer dress starts to ride up at the motion, giving me a healthy dose of the skin of her thighs, and I gulp. Before I can fix her dress for her, I am frozen: Mom, still sleeping, drags herself closer to me. Her legs bend and split in before me, pressing her into a position not unlike the happy baby pose, causing her dress to fall around her waist and bare herself to me. My mind, paused in shock, hardly notices as my hand is pushed from her calve and onto her inner thigh by her movements. I can only focus on one thing, the sheer white thong barely covering her pussy from my view, damp with wetness, rolling up and down with her hips.

A slight moan escapes her lips, and I am stirred from the moment. I realize my hand has continued its massage against her thigh, no doubt eliciting the movement of her hips against me and the wetness coating her thong. I try to tear my gaze from her body, my mind struggling to overcome the sway of my cock.

My finger traces down her thigh, my heart thundering, as I draw closer to the oasis she is presenting to me. Closer, closer, until I am only a few inches. Then one. I feel the soft flesh where her thigh meets her groin, and I stop. No, I won't do this. I remove myself from beside her, suddenly disgusted at my actions. Lusting after her, I can rationalize. But I will not **** her while she sleeps. Not after everything else I have already put her through.

I take a deep breath and steel myself, waiting for my boner to die down. Mom has settled into the couch, her legs falling beside her and granting her some privacy. Once I feel ready, I kneel down beside her and shake her shoulder. "Mom?" I say, as she awakens from her nap.

"Oh, Dom, I just had the strangest dream," she murmurs, her sleepy eyes blinking at me beside her. "Where'd Esmere go?"

Mom sits up on the couch and adjusts her hair, then wipes her eyes.

"She went home a bit ago. I came to help you upstairs."

Mom smiles at me, her blonde hair framing the beauty of her face despite its disheveled state.

"You don't have to do that. I'll get to bed soon."

I smile at her and nod. "Alright, Mom. I'll go to bed, then. Love you."

As I turn to leave, I hear a cough behind me. I turn back and see a faint blush on Mom's cheeks. "No goodnight kiss?" she asks, her voice demure.

She stands from the couch and walks around it to me, her eyes looking up into mine. Mom wraps me in a hug and I lean down to her to plant a kiss on her cheek, but she has other ideas. Her eyes close and her head twists against mine, positioning her lips to meet mine and joining us in a surprising union. My eyes widen as Mom kisses me, but they drift shut and I enjoy the moment. My senses are too dull to pick out the sharp sensations I otherwise would feel, but it doesn't dampen the electricity firing throughout my body. Anxiety and lust course through my body in waves. Her lips linger, her kiss deepening, for one second and then another. Her body presses into mine and I feel her nipples harden against my chest. My hard cock presses against her stomach, no doubt noticed. Just as I overcome my shock and start to kiss her back in earnest, she breaks away and smiles at me with a lusty gaze. "Goodnight, dear," she murmurs, before heading to the kitchen and pulling a glass from the cabinet.

I watch her for a moment, stunned at what just transpired, before returning to my room and taking care of the furious erection I am left with.
