Progress

The feminizing spirit silently rejoiced at the progress Jon had made, celebrating the young man's willingness to embrace his feminine side. Unlike many of its previous victims, Jon had offered almost no resistance to the transformation, as if he had been waiting for this experience his entire life. Even the spirit had been surprised when Jon chose to wear the nametag with the woman's name. Usually that level of dissonance would take much more time. Jon was truly a unique subject, providing both nourishment through his transformation and entertainment.

Hovering over the computer, the spirit continued to observe Jon's transformation. There was more work to be done, but the spirit was confident that nothing could stop it now

Jon was running the cash register like a pro, ringing up one sale after another with practiced ease. He was a natural at it, almost as if he had been doing it his whole life. But despite his efficiency, he couldn't shake the nagging feeling in the back of his mind that something was off. It never bothered him that he wasn't confused as to how the register worked, nor was he concerned that he seemed to understand not only the prices on each garment, but the special discounts on sale items. The only thing that bothered him a bit was the sensation that, in the back of his mind, something was still wrong. Maybe it was the fact that there were no girls in Girl World, or maybe it was something else.

The feeling had first struck him when he had entered the empty store. But at that point, he had been able to push it aside, focusing on the task at hand. But now that the store was emptying out, it was harder to ignore. He leaned over the counter, touching up his make-up in the mirror as he tried to figure out what was bothering him. And then...
