Alex changes back for now

Although he enjoyed the sensory buffet of his feminine form, Alex had no desire to use it around other people, especially his friends, and least of all Sam. "Shit," he whispered, more in awe than in alarm, pulling himself to his feet to scrutinize his eyes in the mirror. He knew exactly what this meant. In his biology class just two weeks ago, he learned that color blindness is a sex-linked trait. There could be only one explanation--the transformation wasn't only changing his appearance. It was giving him a second X chromosome.
