Metropolis

Lois Lane cursed her luck, though, unsure of what she should be cursing. A supervillain attack on her day off? Or being ground zero for a supervillain attack without her camerman and crew?

Lois lamented the struggle of being a reporter while she checked her hair in the screen on her phone before hitting "broadcast".

"This is Lois Lane of the Daily Planet, live on the scene at Metropolis City Square." Behind Lois, a thick cloud of toxic green blanketed the entirety of the Square, obscuring all the people undoubtedly **** (or dead) within,

"A terrorist attack has covered the City Square in an unknown gas. The perpetrator of the attack is unknown at the time, as police and emergency personnel head to the scene. Also not known at the time is the whereabouts of Superman. "

Lois continued to scan and pan, trying to see anything through the fog, when a figure appeared in the sky overhead, followed by a sharp blast of wind which billowed the green gas away. The fog parted, revealing the victims within, while Lois moved her phone's camera up to the sky...

"Supergirl! Supergirl is on the scene!" Lois narrated, before going back down the Square, revealing the culprit. "And it seems that Gotham villain Harley Quinn is responsible for this attack."

Harley, clad in a gas mask and carrying numerous steel canisters strapped to her outfit, visibly panicked at the appearance of the Girl of Steel, her facial expressions visible even to Lois from her vantage point.

"It looks like this will be over very shortly, folks." Lois said, even as Harley made a panicked dash straight to her location. "Quinn is trying to run, but Supergirl is in hot pursuit." Lois took a few steps back, but she was so wrapped up in the action, in the story, she wasn't out of the way, still right in the vicinity of Harley's retreat. "Quinn is struggling with the containers on her belt - most likely the source of the gas, but Supergirl is right on her tail, and -"

Supergirl rammed into Harley, both blondes hitting the ground, as the canister Harley was holding flew up into the air, seal broken, and belching noxious fog everywhere. Soon, a rolling green cloud was all Lois could see, as it devoured her, Supergirl, and Harley, the reporter dropping her phone and quickly falling ****.
