New Year's Dinner

"Ty Lee, I swear to any god that is listening right now, stop trying to jump master!" Aoi was annoyed as Ty Lee was pouting.

Ethan had decided to help in making food for the dinner later on, he enjoyed it.

"How are the pies?" Fuyumi asked Izumi as they were cutting ingredients.

"10 more minutes I think?" Izumi mumbled as she was watching the apple pies that were in the oven.

"Soup is almost ready." Emerald spoke up as she stirred the pot. Ethan smiled and kissed her cheek causing her to blush and smile.

"Your doing good work girls." Ethan praised them as he seared the beef for the Wellington.

"This is gonna be so amazing." Ochako was drooling at the smell.

"I know it will!" Ethan grinned but frowned when he saw Rebecca poking her head inside. "I better see your ass out of here before I ask Meru to get the paddle!"

There was a small eep and Rebecca ran off.

"Awe master! You really rely on me for everything don't you~." Aoi blinked as she turned and saw Meru floating over the counter.

The girl glared at the succubus. "Out." Meru pouted but floated away.

"We're attracting flies sir..." Velvet sighed.

"I know... Get started on your carrot cake bun." He pats Velvet's cheek who smiled and nodded as she went to the other side of the kitchen.

Kushina was in the kitchen with them as well, she didn't like to be idle while others did something... She was working on making some sushi.

"Sir I've never tried Dandelion wine before." Aoi was holding a bottle with dandelion wine inside.

"It's from Teyvat, amazing wine from the city of Mondstadt, we also have Ozmanthus wine from Liyue Harbor." Ethan explained as he took the bottle and placed it down. "And sake from Inazuma as well."

"Huh, sounds like a large place." Fuyumi blinked.

"It is." Ochako responded. "Harley started playing Genshin impact a while back and I was watching her play, it's huge."

"We don't have any girls from Teyvat do we?" Ty Lee asked as she was finishing up with the mashed potatoes.

"Not yet." Ethan replied.

Back in the living room, Wanda was staring out the window to the forest outside, the snow really covered the landscape beautifully.

She turned when she heard footsteps and saw a beautiful girl with dark hair wearing a t-shirt pajama pants.

The girl froze and looked nervous under Wanda's gaze.

"Are you new?" She looked the girl over, not recognising her, Ethan must've gotten her when he got Coco.

The girl slowly nodded, she looked down.

"What's your name?" Wanda asked.

The girl reached behing her pulling out a notepad and scribbling something, she showed Wanda, Japanese... But thankfully she's been learning.

"Komi Shouko, well Shouko, my name is Wanda." Wanda introduced herself with a smile, she wondered why write instead of speaking.

Shouko blinked and wrote something down, showing her what she wrote, Wanda nodded. "Communication disorder... Well I understand, don't worry." Wanda waved her over. "I was just admiring the view, would you like to join me?"

Shouko looked at her a bit skeptically but nodded and stood next to Wanda as they admired the view.

After a few hours, the table was filled with food and everyone sat down.

"Man all this looks so good!" Selena smiled as she smelled the food. "You had a hand in this did you E?"

"How can you tell?" Ethan asked blinking at her.

"Oh I recognize your cooking anywhere, the beef wellington looks great!" Selena gave him a thumbs up.

Shouko looked around at all the girls and then down at her plate.

She jumped slightly when a plate filled with food was placed in front of her. "Here you go." Wanda smiled as she took the empty place started to take for herself.

"... Who's she?" Harley narrowed her eyes at Shouko who froze.

"Shouko Komi, she's been here for months, just hasn't showed her face." Ethan explained.

Coco blinked, that wasn't true. Velvet, who sat next to her, placed a hand on her lap. "Yes, but she's very shy and rarely comes out of her room." Velvet joined in.

Coco couldn't help but smirk a bit.

"WHAT?! WHY WASN'T I TOLD?!" Harley looked at Ty Lee who looked just as lost.

"I don't know anything about this!" She defended herself.

"Well we wanted to preserve her innocence." Wanda pulled Komi into a side hug. The girl looked away shyly.

"We bring her food and drinks as well as some entertainment." Aoi huffed. "You aren't very attentive are you?"

"I... Your fucking with me!" Harley pointed at Ethan who was trying not to snicker.

"Haha! Okay, she was brought her with Coco, she is shy though and can't talk much." Ethan relented as she smiled.

Harley huffed. "You guys are jackasses."

"Oh I've seen your show Komi, it's amazing." Izumi smiled at her. Thankfully during her time here, she's gotten more used to talking to others, hopefully it'll help Komi as well.

Selena was already digging in and hummed. "Soo good.." she moaned softly.

The table was filled with lively chatter, and as time passed, most of the food had vanished.

"I'll take the plates." Jenny got up and picked up the plates, she made more arms and was able to gather all the plates before going to the kitchen to clean, she didn't mind it.

"Harley, please hold back on the dandelion wine!" Velvet begged as Harley was drinking from the bottle.

"Hell no! This is great shit!" Harley pulled away and kept drinking. "Plus it's new year!"

"Doesn't mean you have to get drunk!" Aoi exclaimed.

In the background, Yor was holding a glass of the Ozmanthus wine, no one noticed as she took a sip, she hummed and drank more.

Meru watched with a smirk. This was gonna be good.
