Where now?
My Old High School
I blinked a few times, trying to get my bearings. I looked around and realized that I was standing in the middle of my old high school. But something was off. Everything was frozen. My classmates were all standing still, mid-motion, and the clock on the wall was stuck on a single minute.
It was then that I noticed something even stranger. I was in my younger body, as if I had traveled back in time. This new world was full of surprises, indeed. I took a deep breath and decided to test the limits of this new power I seemed to have.
I thought to myself, "Move," and suddenly everything around me began to move again. The frozen clock started ticking, and my classmates resumed their movements. I walked down the empty hallways, reliving the memories of my youth.
When I reached my old classroom, I saw Maya, the girl I had a crush on all those years ago. She was sitting at the other end of the room, twirling her golden blond hair in her hand and looking out the window.

But I felt a pang of guilt as I remembered that although she was 18, I was 35 on the inside. It felt strange, like I was intruding on something that I had already left behind. I took a seat and watched the teacher speak, wondering where this new world would take me next.
