Go - you need some time

"Could you please go? I need some time" you mumble through tears.

"Of course." Aunt Lydia stands up, passes you a blanket.

"Take your time. If the symptoms start up again now you're alone, you can take care of them by touching yourself like we did together, ok? Remember, you mustn't ignore it. If you're in trouble you can press the button by the bed and I'll come help."

She heads for the door. Before she goes, she turns to you.

"Listen, darling. I know this is a lot to take in, so take your time ok? We'll be meeting at 6.30 in the main dining room for dinner - I would like it if you showed up and met the family, but no rush if you're not up for it."

As she leaves she closes the door behind her, and you're finally left alone to cry it out.
