“Faith and her coach, Charity.” Sasha reveals, quickly showing you a picture of Faith.
“You’re fucking with me.” You reply, completely deadpan, unable to believe those names.
“Would you believe me if I told you Charity was in a tag team with Hope?” she asks, hiding an almost imperceptible smirk.
“No.” You answer, still as deadpan as before.
“Smart girl.” Sasha drops her act, grinning at you. “I wasn’t lying about Faith’s name. Coach’s name is Sin.” You’re about to interrupt, believing that she’s continuing to mess with you, but Sasha notices and explains. “Short for Sindy. She felt that Sin fit rather well here, for rather obvious reasons. Personally, I also think she’s a little embarrassed by ‘Sindy’ too.” She trails off into a handful of giggles.
“So was the Faith and Sin thing on purpose or...?” You ask, satisfied with her explanation but now having a further question.
“Maybe!” comes her immediate answer, accompanied by a small chuckle. “But more likely, she picked Faith because she’ll be tough to beat. Sin is the one that usually picks the strong ones.”
“And yet...she must’ve lost...” You add, thinking.
“True! Maybe Sin picked a weaker one. Or the other girl was better. Or it was just one bad match for Faith, can’t be on it all the time. Regardless, no underestimating her! I don’t wanna end up on the end of Sin’s strap just because you took an opponent too lightly!” Sasha playfully pokes your chest for added emphasis, while you try not to focus on that thought... “So, in the time between now and the match, we’re going to train!”
