In the secluded, rocky part of the beach there were a few boulders that served as perfect cover for Haruto's next stunt.

"Take off your top"

His words were blunt, yet softly spoken. He knew what he was asking and didn't want there to be any room a refusal. Of course Ami didn't wanna do it, if she did there wouldn't have been any point in the first place.

"..This isn't even that kind of beach!"

It was obvious to Haruto that she'd eventually cave when she didn't outright just say no. Instead she went for an excuse, an excuse he'd already thought up the counter for.

A quick picture and they were ready to return to the more populated area. At first Ami felt incredibly self conscious. If no one noticed then Haruto's insult stood true.

Watching Ami's confidence decline further while realizing that people really mistook her for being a guy was almost as sweet as if she'd been found out.

Nothing spectacular happened after that. No confrontation. No crying. Just a completely shattered Ami. She didn't say anything for the rest of the trip, even the bus ride home was uncharacteristically quiet. In addition to his decision to be **** on Ami for a while, he also refrained from bothering her for well over a week. Time that was supposed to let Ami bounce back for a bit. As one would expect she actually just spent that time watching Japanese cartoons and masturbating. If anything, she was at a lower point by the end of the sabbatical than before. Immediately obvious was it to Haruto when he spoke to her regarding a potential shoot at school. Apparently it'd take more than just "leaving her alone" to bring her spirits back up.
