Nurse Bates comes in and helps settle things

Nurse Bates enters, scans the room, and closes the door behind her.

She holds up a hand for quiet. You and Betty and Brenda look at her. Brenda takes her hand out of your scrub pants.

Nurse Bates clicks her phone off mute. "Negative Code Gray," she says aloud. "Code Clear." She gets an acknowledgement and disconnects.

"You should know better than to make this kind of paperwork around the program," Nurse Bates tells Brenda. "I certainly don't need any more scandal."

She gives you a more sympathetic look, sighs, and shrugs. "Anna, you are a loud one."

"I'm sorry, Nurse Bates," you say.

Gloria Bates nods. "Please come with me, Anna," she says. "Brenda, I leave the rest to you."

Nurse Bates takes you by the hand that was just fingering your vulva. She gives your hand a warm squeeze before she leads you out the door.
