As they all gathered together at the lunch Caroline had provided at his 'suggestion', their conversations typically revolved around work and mundane topics. He decided this time was different, and he needed to take a risk to get the point across. Despite her usually talkative nature, Caroline instantly went silent when he interrupted her mid-sentence with one specific question: "We've been working together for some time now, and I think it's time that you let me know more about you." Even Isabelle, who was known for having a permanent plastic smile, seemed to be affected by his words. Despite the tension, she still responded kindly with an offer for him to ask what he wanted to know. Claudia, however, continued on with her usual obliviousness, completely ignoring his inquiry.
He straightened himself in his chair, looking at them all expectantly. "So I already know some things about you," he began, brown eyes serious under furrowed brows, "but what I don't know is how big your tits are. It's important information for someone in my position."
Caroline was the first to answer, her mouth full of chips. "B-cups," she said between bites. Claudia shrank further into her seat, face tinged with pink. "C," she whispered shyly, glancing up at him through thick eyelashes before returning her gaze to the table top. He grinned, and Claudia smiled despite herself.
Now all eyes fell on Isabelle, whose ample chest was a subject of many rumors. Not one to pass up an opportunity for attention, she grinned cheekily and replied through pursed lips: "F." She stuck out her tongue and winked as if daring anyone to challenge her victory.
"Thank you for your confidence," he said appreciatively, breaking the silence that had descended upon the room like a thick fog. They returned their focus to the task at hand.
