Hinata in the garden

“Red roots and scent of honeysuckle, into the bucket,” hummed Hinata as she used small clippers to prune a strange bush with red roots with thorns and bell shaped tubes. She had a lavender bandanna holding her hair back and a set of overalls. She took the clippings and put it in a bucket to process it further later, making sure the bucket was away from the bucket with SnapDragon plants.

As Hinata leaned over to pick up more clippings, Hinata shivered and stood up straight and looked around. She could’ve sworn that she felt someone staring at her but she couldn’t see anyone except for some dog walkers and a female Courier Six from Fallout New Vegas delivering mail. She did see curtains swaying on the house down the street that Ahsoka warned not to get close to, ever.

She continued to feel someone watching but she could not catch anyone especially since James had not unlocked her Bakugan so she couldn’t use it to find them. Eventually, Hinata saw a startling pale person standing down the street who started waving at her. Hinata nervously waved back as the man stared back at her without blinking. Hinata started gathering the buckets and taking them inside when a car pulled up to James' house. This sent the strange neighbor back inside his own dark house.

Leaving the car was a woman with short asymmetric hair with green highlights. From her expensive clothing and attitude, Hinata could see she was a very wealthy person. Just as Hinata wondered why she was there, the woman addressed her.

“Hello!” The woman greeted with a smile as she took off her sunglasses and tossed them inside her car. “Are Aelita and Starfire still here?”

“Yes but…” Hinata started but the woman started walking up to the front door.

“Great, you can go back to gardening now,” she said with a wave while a Yoko Lattner followed behind with an apologetic look at Hinata. The Yoko was carrying several bags and boxes.

“W—wait!” Hinata protested as she hurried to block the woman from entering. “Please identify yourselves.”

“Well I’m glad my brother has a protective door guard,” the woman said as she gave Hinata a look.

“Brother?” Hinata said as the woman gave an ID over.

“The name is Poppy Gardner, sweetie,” the woman said as Hinata looked at the ID.

As Hinata blinked away the odd image of the woman posed on a throne and surrounded by mushrooms of a wide variety, the now named Poppy barged through the door and loudly proclaimed herself. “Lita! Star-Star! Your favorite future sister-in-law is here!” Two excited cries followed.
