Admit you’ve overstepped

Her demands aren’t even unreasonable, and you can't help but feel guilty. Whereas your other friends accepted your new powers to varying degrees, Pearl seems to be the closest to her baseline rationality about you claiming things. Yet you've messed with Pearl almost more than anyone else. Of course she's upset with you. You deserve it, you've been a jerk to her all night.

Considering you can always claim anything you want later, you figure you might as well make a good faith gesture, even if you're not really planning on stopping anytime soon.

Though there is one problem.

"Can I even do that?" you ask, rubbing your chin. "I mean sure, I've been testing things on you all night and that's not fair, but the card says I could claim anything I wanted. It didn't mention anything about giving it back."

"If it's yours," Pearl says slowly, as if speaking to a particularly slow child, "you can do anything you want with it. Including giving it to someone else."

You hadn’t thought about it like that. "Huh. That’s true, isn’t it. Guess there’s no better way to find out than by trying.” You square your shoulders officiously. "Pearl,” you announce, “everything I've taken from you is yours again!”
