Yep. Claim Jane’s workout routine
It turns out that you can.
"I'm going to claim your workout routine," you decide.
Jane opens her eyes and tentatively relaxes. "Huh? Why?"
You explain your reasoning. "I've wanted to start working out this summer before I head out to college," you say, "and you go running every day."
The real reason, however, is that you want to spend more time with Jane, but point blank claiming your old friend as your date or your girlfriend feels way too awkward since she’d know what you’re doing. And anyway, that’d technically count as mind control or rape, wouldn’t it? You’re not a bad guy.
Jane, though, becomes uncharacteristically timid as she processes the implications of her workout routine belonging to you.
"I mean, I'd like to keep running every day if that's okay with you. Sometimes I ride my bike or go boarding instead though,” she says, nervously shifting her weight to the balls of her feet. “Actually, like half the time I do stuff like skateboarding or hiking, or even taking the stairs instead of the elevator, I'm sorta low-key keeping in mind it'll help me keep in shape. Is it okay if I keep doing all that junk as a part of my routine?"
Wow. You didn’t realize how big a part of Jane’s life her workout routine is.
