Eme kept a blank face and let the moment pass.

The shorter, louder frat guy, after rubbing his chin a moment, looked back at Ms. Bach and says "We'll hire Anne." The taller silent one's eyes swiveled from Eme to Anne and nodded, not seeming to be especially upset or excited.

"Fantastic, Room number 4." Ms. Bach replies before her and the younger guys sort out the details of their engagement with Anne. They head back and Anne follows shortly behind, giving Eme a wink, as she sauntered gracefully behind them.

Ms. Bach then looked up at the large customer left. "And how can I help you today?"

The man clears his throat and says "ughhh, it seems like Ruby's available right?"

Ms. Bach nodded back with an encouraging smile. He clearly seemed a little uncomfortable, before she added "And Eme is shadowing her, she'll join the two of you, if you're willing, and she'll be able to help take care of you as well."

He didn't react much, looking a little stony, but does take a moment to consider.
