A quick explaination.

The broadcasts were run by the school media group which were very low budget. The school had good equipment of course, and most of the time it was good enough to get a class though their exams but most of it was starting to show its age. Due to the often low numbers of students who took up the course, let alone those willing to run a morning broadcast it was often overlooked whenever money was being dished out. The broadcasts were sent out to the few TVs in the school, one at the front desk which mostly played student acted adverts for the school for guests, one in the staff room and about 3 in class rooms that teachers hadn't bothered to replace yet. There wasn't even an website to rewatch them on! A shambles.

And this was why they had to take action. Viewing figures were low, not many students cared to learn news about the school when they check the most better socials. That's what Eliana wanted to change. She was the top of the media class and had been dreaming of ways to get people watching. The TVs were programmed to switch to the live camera feed when it was switched on to save teachers having to remember so she knew anyone near a tv would see it. Her plan was simple. Get a nerd in front of a camera without knowing they were live for a few minutes and hope he did something funny enough to grab peoples attention.
