Saw car in a distance

As you catch your breath, you see a car in the distance, driving slowly down the street. You realize that this might be your chance to escape for good.

You start to trot down the street, hoping to catch up to the car before it passes you by. As you get closer, you see that it's an old pickup truck, with a man behind the wheel. You can't see his face clearly in the dark, but you can tell that he's older and looks like he's been through a lot.

You trot up to the truck and whinny, hoping to get the man's attention. He looks over at you, surprised to see a ponygirl running loose in the street.

"What the hell?" he mutters, but he doesn't seem scared or angry. Instead, he gets out of the truck and approaches you cautiously.

"Hey there, girl. What are you doing out here all by yourself?"

You try to speak, but the bit in your mouth makes it impossible. Instead, you nuzzle his hand, hoping that he'll understand that you need his help.

The man seems to get the message, and he reaches up to undo the harness holding you to the cart. He leads you over to the back of the truck andhelps you climb in. You're grateful for his help, but you're also scared. You have no idea where he's taking you or what he's going to do with you.

As he drives through the town, you try to get a better look at him. He's a middle-aged man with a grizzled beard and weathered skin. He looks like he's seen his fair share of hard times.

After a few minutes of driving, he pulls into a secluded spot and turns off the engine. You're scared and unsure of what to do, but he seems friendly enough.

"Hey there, girl. Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you," he says in a soft voice. "I just want to know what's going on. Why are you dressed like that? Are you in trouble?"

You try to explain, but the bit still prevents you from speaking. Instead, you nuzzle his hand and nod your head. He seems to understand and nods in return.

"Okay, I get it. You need my help. But I don't know what to do. I'm just a simple man, trying to get by in this world."
