“Let’s play some video games,” Yang suggested. “I’ve been practicing Hunter Combat and I think I can beat you now.”

“Or, do you?” Ruby asked, crossing her arms and grinning. “Challenge accepted.” She plopped down on the floor of their room as Yang began to set up the system. There was the music of the familiar fight song and both chose their characters. “I’m not going easy on you, Yang.”

“You’re going down and I’ll be top dog.” Yang replied and Zwei wolfed from his bed. “That’s right, Zwei. You know what I’m talking about.”

Ruby was a little worried. Yang always beat her at this game. However, now she had the age advantage which meant she knew more than Yang did, including having additional practice time. The game started and Ruby quickly realized Yang’s skill was about where her skill was before the Age Swap. Ruby always found himself remembering combo moves more easily. The result was she crushed Yang pretty handedly. Maybe the android body gave her faster reflexes too.

“Rematch.” Yang said angrily.

“It’s not going to change.” Ruby warned her and beat her again. It became obvious Yang wasn’t going to let up. She was incredibly competitive, so a simple suggestion of swapping to a coop wouldn’t help now.

Ruby had a choice to make.

She could make an excuse to leave, but it was getting late and a lame excuse would be seen through. She could use the remote to swap ages back to see if Yang wouldn’t want to keep this up. There were also a few people still outside enjoying the last moments of sun before heading back inside. She could Life Swap with one of them a bit while Yang fought her substitute. She did like being older.

If she remembered the remote instructions right and her own experiences, a Life Swap would put her android cat eared body into someone else’s life. The only difference she would experience was the clothes, but other people would see her as her target. It was always a pretty crazy sensation.
