Moving ahead

The next week is almost routine. The excitement over Hybrids seems to tone down among your coworkers, though you do occasionally get people asking for stories. You indulge them, talking about life with Lili, though you intentionally leave out Emi, just to be safe. The interest wanes quickly, however, when you refuse to go into detail about your sex life. Some things you’re going to keep private.

Emi continues to expand her horizons, both in devouring every book she can find, and in learning new skills. She’s quickly becoming quite a talented cook, making ever more elaborate dishes for dinner. You end up making several trips to the grocery store so that she can pick out fresh ingredients. You don’t mind, as it leads to some delicious meals, and it’s good to get the girls out of the apartment.

Lili doesn’t seem to mind, eager to do anything that involves being around you. The energetic harpy is basically attached to you whenever you’re not at work. Not that you mind, of course! Emi practically radiates happiness, and you doubt that you will ever tire of seeing her bright smile.

Of course, the two of them have other needs as well, Lili especially. It’s a rare day that you aren’t dragged into the bedroom shortly after arriving home by one or both of them. Again, you aren’t about to complain! You’re happy to see that any jealousy that was between them has dissipated, and that they really are happy with each other as well as with you.

Late in the week, you get a message from Sam. It seems she has some results to share with you. She suggests making a night of it at your place on the weekend. You agree, figuring that it will be easier to talk freely there rather than in public. Besides, you’re sure that Emi will enjoy cooking up a nice dinner. Sam seems enthusiastic about the idea, and once again you can’t help but wonder why she’s so eager. Nevertheless, you have to admit that you’re excited as well.

You arrive at home that night, ready to share the news with the girls. As soon as you open the door, you’re practically tackled by a hug from a nude woman. This isn’t particularly unusual with Lili in the apartment, but you’re surprised to find that this time it’s Emi! You barely make it inside and close the door, as the nude catgirl giggles and drapes herself against you.

She looks up at you with a lopsided grin. “You’re home! Yay! I missed you…”

Her speech is slurred, and you catch the scent of **** on her breath. Standing in the hallway is Lili, giggling as she watches. “Emi is drunk, yes yes! She tried some wine, and she’s all silly-silly!”

You remember that **** isn’t recommended for Hybrids, as their metabolism processes it differently. Clearly, it’s had an increased effect on Emi, unless she drank a lot. You look at the cat girl, who is now pulling at your clothing and mumbling to herself.

“How much did you drink, Emi?”

She pauses, thinking, then giggles. “Jus’ a lil! A glass…”

You glance at Lili, who nods. You chuckle, petting Emi’s head. “You know you’re not supposed to do that.”

Emi pouts. “I wanted to try….it feels warm and fuzzy.”

You smile. “I suppose there’s no harm in it. Just make sure you’re careful.”

Emi hugs you tightly, her smile returning. “Yay! I promise…I’ll be very good.”

She looks at you again, her face serious in the way only a drunken person can be. “We love you, you know that? Both of us…a lot. A lot. I wanna show you how much…”

She starts fumbling with your belt, an eager gleam in her mismatched eyes. You glance at Lili, who is watching with a big smile, before looking back down at Emi. “Emi, do you want to move somewhere more private?”

Emi hesitates, then shakes her head.
