That was not a hard sell for Jade. She was walking in that direction before the voice even finished speaking. She approached the pale skinned goth girl with her purple streaked black hair. The rather bored looking woman seemed to be taken aback when Jade approached her but she quickly put on a cute smile with her black painted lips. That made her go from absolutely beautiful to gorgeous.

"Yo," she said with a nod. "So… interested in the occult?"

"That depends," Jade said, trying to be smooth. "Does the occult include you?" She gave the woman her best finger guns causing the goth to lose control and burst out laughing.

"You are terrible!" She exclaimed though Jade did notice a slight blush under her pale concealer. "Alright, that's the best one I have heard today. But seriously, interested in the club?"

"Maybe," Jade answered feeling a little triumphant that her stupid line had worked. "What have you heard today?"

"Oh you know the usual," the goth girl said with a shrug. " 'If I was a ghost I would let you exercise me'." She wiggled her fingers in the air. " 'Step on me'." She stepped one leg out from behind the table to show off her platform, chunky boots. "Oh and the best one before you was 'You put the Big in Big Tiddy Goth Girl'. Which granted is true and a good one." Jade did notice that she was not only on the chubbier side but also rather busty. "But the guy that said that was old enough to be my dad… so no… just no…"

"Fair. So what does the club have to offer?"

"Well it's not much of a club, most of the older members who got me into it are in their final year and asked me to take over. I am trying to drum up more support but so far not much interest," she explained. "We basically sit around, watch horror movies, hold a fake ass seance or two and occasionally go to a haunted house but most times we just end up getting high and hanging out."

That actually sounded rather cool to Jade. "Awesome… so it it all like crystal balls and ouija boards or are you like ghostbusters with proton packs?" Jade asked.

"A bit of both actually… some ghost hunting gizmos we picked up over the years and some other more retro stuff we have gathered," she explained. "I'm Sabrina by the way."

"Jade," she offered a band to the woman and they shook. "So what's the creepiest thing you have?"

"The demon box, hands down," Sabrina said immediately. "Want to see it?" Jade nodded and Sabrina ducked down to pull it out from under the table. It was a small chest with chains around it. "The con-artist Nathan bought this off claimed it has an imprisoned demon in it."

"Wow… what a scam."

"You're telling me… he even said it could detect other Demons. Apparently Demons don't like one another so if a demon was to come close to it…" Sabrina explained as she placed the box before Jade. Only for the box to suddenly shudder and slide back across the table and off of it.

"What the actual fuck!" Jade exclaimed as she jumped back. She felt the voice shudder within her head, for the first time ever, she felt it let out something akin to an emotion rather than words bit she could not tell for the life of her what emotion.

"The… the table must be off balance," Sabrina said, blinking as she ran her hands across it. "I… yeah that must be it." She picked up the demon box and put it away. "So… still interested in joining or did my unstable table scare you off?" She laughed wholeheartedly but Jade did not see the comedy in this.

Was that really want had happened? And what about the voice? It had calmed down but had it really even reacted in the first place? Or had Jade just imagined it? On one hand if the voice really was a demon… maybe learning more about them in the occult club could be useful. Perhaps even free her from its control. Of course having seen any horror movie ever Jade was well aware of what happened when you prodded a demon or ghost or whatever creepy thing was manipulating your life…

The voice spoke up and Jade wondered what it would make her do. A positive or negative reaction to Sabrina's offer? Or something completely out of left field and probably lewd? Jade was betting the latter but the former would tell her a lot about the new possibilities she had regarding the voice. It said…
