Sarah bites the bullet.

Sarah had spent way too long that night reading. She was totally destroyed the following morning. I was so bad that she called in sick to work. She had a lot of sick days that she hadn't spent. "Hey, we said yes." Sarah waited for a response from Alex, she saw that Michael was watching his phone as well. A message from Alex didn't take long.

"Ah, yes, I can see that. I presume that this other user is Michael?" Sarah waited for Michael to answer.

"Yep, that's me."

"Good. How about we set up a day to meet up and discuss this arrangement." Sarah stomach fluttered, and she quickly typed.

"Yes! What day suits you?" She looked up at Michael, blushing slightly at her own eagerness. Michael's face was smiling, and he could see how eager Sarah was, which was infectious. Their phones buzzed.

"Well, I was thinking about me and Michael could meet so without you Sarah and get to know each other somewhat, you know, and see if we enjoy each other somewhat before considering doing a three-parter." Sarah didn't like the sound of that at all. But Alex's logic was infallible, Michael and Alex had only talked to each other while in the company of Sarah. Sarah and Michael met and she could see that Michael agreed with Alex. So she relented.

"Okay, Alex."

"Great, how about Michael helps me make dinner tomorrow evening, and we can have a good conversation over making and eating dinner?" Sarah felt like Alex was pushing her a little by setting up a meet similar to the one she had with Alex the other evening, but again, it made sense. Alex described it as a "teambuilding" exercise for them even though Michael wanted to participate. When the evening was winding down, and they were preparing for the night, Michael said.

"This is interesting and exciting." Sarah didn't follow.

"What do you mean?" Michael adopted a weird pose, standing feet wide apart with his hands on his hips.

"About tomorrow and this whole thing." Sarah was starting to guess what he was angling for.

"Yeah, I know."
