Dinner and Business

As you enter into the restaurant you see it is relatively quiet still as it is early in the afternoon there are a few businessmen sitting at the bar and a few tables sporadically around. as you walk in you expect Maddie to go up and talk to the greeter and tell them what the reservation is on the but instead your mom walks up and says “There should be a reservation for Rose.” tTe person quickly checks over the reservation sheet must pick out your mother's name looks back up at her nods and says “Of course, is it just the three of you?” Your mother nods and the woman motions for you to follow them.

As you wind through the restaurant several of the businessmen sitting at the bar look over at the three of you spending a roughly equal amount of time checking each of you out before going back to their drinks and chatting amongst themselves the rest of the restaurant is too busy with their own conversations to really pick up on you just the way you prefer it as opposed to the other night at the club. you head out of the main part of the restaurant which surprises you to a certain extent you have been here before but always sat on the main floor as the person walks they take you out to the outdoor area which is usually reserved for bigger parties you know and motions to a table that is set up for the three of you.

Maddie and your mom moved to sit down as you glance around for a moment before seeing Maddie take the side with two chairs on it and you sit next to her. As you sit down immediately To service come over to take your drink orders, you are about to say something when your mom speaks up and says to start with we're going to order a bottle of Louis Roederer "Cristal", Brut, Reims '13. You are not sure what to say it's clear that you did not quite realize the amount of money that your mother must make now, also to be fair in your life it was usually your sisters who got invited to places like this and not you as you were kind of the odd one out of the family being more of the nerd.
